childproofing?

LO is *thisclose* to crawling for real so we're beginning to think about childproofing.

Have you childproofed anything yet?  What have you done so far?  Any fav products you'd recommend?

We'll start with outlet covers and cabinet locks, but are also thinking about one of those gates that creates a little enclosure on the floor so LO can crawl in a safe area-- has anyone used those?  thoughts?

    Our coffee table has some pretty sharp corners, so we bought corner things for it. We have already had the outlet covers because of FI's young nieces. We've had to move some furniture out of the living room that was not stable enough even with anchoring. We have definitely had to rearrange some furniture so FI's guitars were out of DS's reach.

    FI wants to buy a large play yard, but we can't afford it. I wish DS was still satisfied to play in his PnP, but nope!

    We are doing some outlet covers and a baby gate to help keep her out of the kitchen. That is about it. We may rearrange some when she begins to pull up on things.
