In the GTKY posts I've noticed there are at least a few of us here from either MA, NH or ME. Just wondering where your RE is located and if you would recommend them. Also, I would especially love to hear any experiences with Boston IVF.
I live in NH, work in MA and our lake house is in ME. It is difficult to find an RE that is convenient to all 3. I think if this cycle doesn't work I am going to switch because it seems like my current RE is only convenient to my work. Its 10 minutes from my work, but it is 50 minutes one way from home and 2 1/2 hours one way from our lake house. It seems my appointments always land on weekends when were at the lake and then we have to cut our weekend short. Its aggravating to have to drive 2 1/2 hours one way for a 10 minute appointment.
Anyways, Boston IVF seems to be the one that is most convenient as they have offices in all 3 states. The only thing is I read a few bad reviews on them. Any experience with them or any other REs is greatly appreciated/

Me 36/DH 31
Over 35 - TTC since Sept 2012
2/13 - DH's SA was normal and OBGYN did BW on me to check ovulation - all was normal. Went to RE in March 2013 at BIVF. All BW was normal, estrogen a little high. 4/13 - HSG #1 - very painful and had spasms so suggested repeat of procedure. 5/13 - HSG #2 done by RE and both tubes are blocked
Lurking from IF!
We live in SE Mass and see Dr. B.rian B.urger at B.IVFs Quincy office. I cannot speak highly enough of him!!! With that said, he is the second RE we have seen in the practice as we were pretty unhappy with the prior one. I really think it depends on who your RE is in the group. Keep in mind that with B.IVF they do not due cycle groups, you cycle when you are ready. That also means that your procedures will probably not be done by your specific RE. I do know with my RE, he reviews as the monitoring results himself 7 days a week and determines the next steps. Some of the RE's will defer that on the weekends to whichever RE is covering the weekend.
Please PM me with any questions!
Me: 31, PCOS DH: 37, low morph and low counts
IVF #1 Lupron/GonalF (Dec 2012)= 30R, 21M, 21F with ICSI, 18 HIP frosties!!!
FET in August 2013
That happened to me as well, I started seeing Dr. Attaman in Feb just to have her leave in April. I liked Dr. Reindollar, he has a very good way of explaining things and doesn't talk down to you.
That's nice to know, if we have to move to IVF we'll probably go to Boston
This seems to be a common theme! LOL I will also be in Maine all next week, except for you know Monday when I have to drive 5 hours round trip to Boston for a CD11 monitoring appointment. And probably again later in the week because I am sure I will need a 2nd US.
