I know not everyone gets it, but I did w DD. In fact, it didnt fade until she was a year old! Maybe it appeared even later than 34 weeks? I don't remember. Interesting if i don't get it this time!

I also had one with my last pregnancy and don't have one now. I definitely had one in 2nd tri with DD, and it didn't go away for several months after she was born. No complaints, just a little curious as to why I had one before and don't this time.
ETA: the one I got with DD basically went from my pubic bone to my sternum, and was not faint, so I totally expected to have one this time. I just remembered that there is an OWT about the length of the linea nigra and the gender of the baby, so I guess it's not that weird for it to be different from one pregnancy to the next.
I don't have one. No stretch marks as of yet either *knock on wood*
As pp's have said, not everyone gets it. I did also read that fair women get it less often and I'm extremely fair skinned so perhaps that has something to do with it in my case.
Not everyone gets it, I didn't with either. Also every pregnancy is different so you may not get one this time. I had "pregnancy mask" first time around and nothing this time :]
Ugh, I definitely have one! It runs up my whole stomach and is really dark on the bottom half. I'm really hoping it doesn't take too long to fade away. I don't have any stretch marks on my belly so far, but I had a few on my hips from puberty, that are looking a bit more "stretchy" heh. I started putting bio oil on them, and they've faded a bit, so that's good news!
Mine is lighter this time than last time. Its not nearly as long as some womens.
The only value I can see it holding or/help it would be would've been when there were no pregnancy tests in the past and women needed a way to prove to their husbands they were pregnant :P lol.

Re: No linea nigra?
I don't have it- does it always appear, though? I thought that sometimes women don't get one.
I did, however, get my first several stretch marks yesterday. Yuck!
I never get one *shrug*
Almost 33 weeks, and I don't have one! I don't think everyone gets them, or that you get it every pregnancy. Though that may not be accurate.
I do, however, have plenty of stretch marks.
I'm nearly 34 weeks and no line.
I understood that not everyone gets it.
Got my first stretch marks instead though. Bonus!
This.

Same here. I think it is because I have very fair skin, so it barely shows up.
Got my first ones this week too! What an unwelcome surprise.
