First shower

I got the invite for my first baby shower.  

I knew when and where it was, but getting the invite today means other people got them, which means it real.  Aaah!

 


R&K married 4.15.11. TTC #1 since 7.11.12

BFP #1 9.9.12 EDD 5.21.13 c/p 9.12.12 at 4 weeks 1 day

BFP #2 10.15.12 EDD 6.28.13 c/p 10.19.12 at  4 weeks.

BFP #3 1.19.13 EDD 10.1.13 Eleanor born 10.7.13 at 40 weeks 6 days

    I got my invite today too! Now i;m gonna compulsively check my registries LOL Although I don't think H's fam will actually go to them. They weren't listed on the invite. My MIL asked H where we were registered. I guess she is telling people if they ask.

    Same here.  Because we had generous family give us stuff, and I am a contest addict there isn't much we really need.

    We need a car seat and diapers and I want a free standing high chair.  Those are the most expensive things on the registry.  Everything else is small (under $20).

    I'm wondering if I should leave it or add some bigger stuff.

    I still need almost everything LOL I just got the crib and mattress. I wouldn't add anything in hopes that a group of people will go in on the last few big items you need.

    That's very exciting!!! I have my first one on Saturday and my family one at the beginning of August (that's where I know bigger stuff like the stroller/car seat will come from.)

    I totally read the subject and thought. Oh, my gosh you have never had a shower? hopefully you have taken A LOT of bathes... other wise how could anyone bare your smell long enough for you to get KU?

    Totally makes more since now. And I wouldn't change the registry, that way people are more likely to get you the big ticket items you need.
