I am 3DPO and happy to be in the 2ww. For me waiting to O is so very stressful. I am not feeling anxious because I don't have a good feeling about this cycle. So I am hanging out until AF. Our timing was good, but I just don't have a good feeling... YKWIM

Updates: I had my PCOS work up done about a week ago, and it came back that most everything was WNL except for my insulin level, which showed I'm "a little" insulin resistant.
I'm on CD 51, and day 9/10 of Provera to get me through to the next cycle. I'm going to start 50 mg Clomid Cd5-9 next cycle. I'm hoping it does the trick.
Favorite Vacations: I'd have to say one of my favorites was Mazatlan, Mexico--just because it is not touristy like most of the Mexican destinations...went to the open air market, old Catholic churches, marina, etc.

QOTW: We've had some pretty fun ones. I loved going to Lake of the Ozarks in MO. It was so relaxed, and being out in the boat all day was awesome. We took a cruise last year to Alaska, really neat to see all the wildlife and glaciers.
ETA: Congrats to Okiewife!
I'd highly recommend it! But, it's a senior citizen vacation. There was only 1 other couple on the boat that was under 30, I bet the average age was 65. So if you're looking for a younger crowd, Alaskan cruise is not it.

UPDATE: I think I'm still waiting to O. I had a really high temp spike on Tuesday (but I thought it was wrong so I took my temp two times immediately following and got the same reading twice in a row and it was 0.24 degrees lower). If I use the first temp, FF gives me crosshairs for Monday. If I use the 2nd lower temp, no CH yet. Since my EWCM didn't start until Tuesday and I still have it, I think my temp was high on Wednesday and I got little sleep and was drinking a lot the night before but I guess we shall see! No positive OPKs yet either but I suppose I could have missed my surge. If I O'd Monday, timing was alright since we BD on Sunday evening. If I haven't O'd yet, even better since I'm going home tomorrow from my work travel so we will have a lot more opportunities!
QOTW: We went to Hawaii for our honeymoon and it was hands down the best vacation I have ever been on. We went to Oahu, Maui and Kauai. Oahu is alright because it's a city with a beach. Absolutely loved Maui and Kauai. Maui is a little more touristy with lots to do and tons of cool little local restaurants. Kauai is awesome because it is a lot less developed and a lot more laid back but I loved them both. I keep begging DH to go back but since we live on the east coast, the flight is long and quite expensive.

Updates: I think I am gearing up to actually O after a dotted CH fake out for the past couple of weeks. So, it looks like my cycles are gradually shortening.
QOTW: I would have to say that my favorite travel destination is Ireland. I loved every minute of our trip there and am already trying to plan a trip back. Dublin was great, but just driving around the countryside is such a beautiful experience. I highly recommend it!

I am on CD 8 today, so far so good. Going on vacation to Lake Placid on Sunday, super excited, our 2 year anniversary is on Monday and I should be Oing during the week we are gone so this should be an awesome vacation!!!!!

Well we did not have a true honeymoon, we went to Maine for a few days, same place were we got engaged and we go every Thanksgiving weekend. Love it there!!
Also we go to Lake Placid every year. My best friend has a summer home there that she lets us use. We are leaving on Sunday spending the week and will be TTC when we are there since like I said above that time will be here!!!!
We can bring our dogs with us and we go hiking and kayaking. Cant wait it is going to be fun. Love going there. Just ordered a small wedding cake to bring w us for Monday night!!!! Super excited since it has been a while since we have been away!!!

You will drive yourself crazy if you take multiple temps and play around with them. Not only that, but they are not credible. Always temp once, and use that number. Temp 2, 3, and so on are not accurate as you are more awake than you were for the first temp. You've moved around a little. It will only make you crazy dealing with multiple temps in one day.
I would love to go to Hawaii. Now that I'm on the west coast it seems a little more attainable but still so far away!
I hope you O soon and that your cycles are getting shorter. That would be awesome!

Thanks!!!! Yes, my tradition is to order a small "wedding cake, it is a yellow cake with strawberries and chocolate mouse inside w buttercream icing. My hubby does not like cake so I get a small one enough for 4 small slices. I have them put orange and pink flowers on it like my wedding cake had and Happy 2nd anniversary!!!

Hi uneek! I've been away from TB since May but I'm back now.
DH & I are excited about trying again this cycle. I'm CD5 and will try using (for the first time) OPKs beginning CD9. FX that July is our lucky month!
I have a dear friend who is also going to try for her first BFP at the same time. In the back of my mind I'm worried that she'll get hers and have a great 9 mo. (she's 8 years younger than me) or that we'll both get BFP but I'll miscarry again
I need to work on this bc I don't want it to affect our friendship.

I'd highly recommend it. Best part hands down was going to Glacier National Park and seeing all the awesome glaciers. So neat!
