Still pregnant

Well, my due date has come and gone. This was a scary pregnancy and we had so many scares where I thought we'd have to deliver early so I am beyond grateful to have made it full term!

I'm 4CM and 80% effaced so she swept my membranes today. If I'm still pregnant at my appt on Monday we're inducing on Thursday. The 4th of July not wild a out a 4th of July baby but all I want is a healthy baby in my arms!

Hopefully things get moving soon!

FWIW, both MH and I are 4th of July babies. I love having my birthday on the 4th. MH doesn't care either way. It's a fun holiday to have a birthday on!

Hopefully you will have a baby before the 4th since you are already dilated to 4! It can be any time! How exciting :-)

FYI, I was 3cm dilated and 70% effaced at 40w2d and my midwife swept my membranes. I woke up the next morning having contractions and Ben was born at 2:29 the next afternoon. GL!

ETA: on the iPad and can't edit. He was born at 2:29 that afternoon (not the next). I'm functioning on 4.5 hours of sleep.

I hope that happens!! With DS I was 3cm for a couple weeks and 80-90% effaced and had my membranes swept at 39 weeks at 4 cm and....nada. But my OB insists that it's different the 2nd time around.

Mermaids&Magic:
I was induced on a Monday and didn't give birth til Wednesday, so she could be a 5th of July baby.

On dear god no. LOL. I cannot labor for two days. I guarantee I'll be begging for a c section! With DS they started my pitocin at 9:30 am, had my water broken at 11:30 am and he was born at 7:04 pm after an hour of pushing.

FWIW, I was born the week of Thanksgiving, and my birthday is on Thanksgiving this year. People can be thankful for me lol. I'm just kidding, I'm not self centered like that lol.
