Long cycle ladies, come in

For those of you with long cycles, (35 days+), do you find that you have very painful periods and heavy bleeding?  My cycles have been crazy since my last loss, going from 30 days (prior) to 31 to 38 and then 44, 40.  Well I am finding that this period is kicking my butt.  I am bleeding very heavily (which I thought may be due to the fact that there are more days for the lining to build up) and my cramps are horrible.  Yesterday they literally made me sick.  Today I am at work wondering how to get through the day.  Pain reliever is doing nothing.  Anyone else have this issue with long cycles?


BFP #1 ended in MMC. Discovered Oct 2005 @10w5d, baby stopped growing around 6w. D&C.
BFP#2 Nov 2005. Baby's heart stopped @ 8w3d. D&C Jan 2006. Trisomy 18
BFP#3 Nov 2006. My "miracle baby" DD born 7/25/07
BFP #4 11/6/12. EDD 7/16/13~my birthday! No sac found @ 5w1d, betas not increasing. Natural m/c started 11/20/12.

BFP#5 11/9/13.  EDD 7/21/14  Our beautiful rainbow born on his due date!!

    Mine will vary.  One cycle it won't be too bad, the next will be hell.  Not sure why is varies so much, but I doubt it has to do with the length.  I've had a super light 90+ day and a heavy 40 day.  It is probably all hormonal based.

     Our baby boy,Logan, was born still at 19w3d on 7/1/2011
    Our 2nd baby boy, Mason, was born still at 20w3d on 1/31/2012

     After a much needed sanity break... we are praying for our rainbows

    Mine vary as well. Currently I have had spotting/AF for 2 weeks very light.
    Trying for our first since April 2011
    BFP 10/4/2012. Due 6/11/13. M/C 11/3/12
    Diagnosed Hypothyroidism 9/4/13
    BFP #2 11/11/13 Due 7/24/14

    I'm sorry for your loss. Like you, I used to have 30 day cycles but have had 35+ day cycles since my loss in February. My periods have been much heavier and painful (before and during). It has gotten a little better but not a lot. Hang in there! FX that your body will normalize soon. I'm learning that it takes awhile for your body to recover and find it's rhythm again.

    Thanks ladies.  Last cycle was definitely lighter than this one, so I guess it varies.  I hope so, anyway b/c I can't bear this kind of torture every cycle!

    Honestly I've only had one period since the DnC and it was very very heavy and crampy. Sorry that its being such a pain for you.

    I had my loss in April.  My first cycle after was 35 days and my period was the heaviest I have ever had.  I'm currently on my 2nd cycle...39 days and counting.
