I use the iPlay washable (reusable) swim diapers. Available on Amazon for $10. We have 2 pair a season and it's plenty. Target carries Charlie Banana reusable swim diapers but they're thinner and feel cheaper to me so I stick with iPlay. When DS was an infant I used the printed iPlay ones as his suit, and when he was 1.5 we had trunks with the diaper built in. Now I just have 2 white swim diapers that he wears underneath regular trunks.
I think disposable swim diapers are nasty. They get so heavy and gross when they're wet. Much prefer the reusable ones, and I don't CD normally.
Reusable all the way. Much nicer than disposable. Depending on where you live, specialty baby stores like Cotton Babies carry them for about $17 (in my area anyways). We used ours several times a week for the whole summer and it still looks brand new. Amazon also has them and Target too.

Reusable for sure! We just have one, and I can't think of why you'd need two or more... It's fit her forever, has a really cute pattern, and can be worn solo (as in, no bathing suit) if you'd like. It definitely is more affordable than disposable ones.

Pampers has disposable ones, Target sells them but they start at like 16 pounds, I think.
I use the reusable ones. I got them at Target.
