Hi Ladies,
Thanks for all the well wishes, I missed you all so much and was wondering how everyone was doing (while I was being a major crank and PIA to DH). Baby girl is doing great and being watched very closely but since she scored an 8 out of 8 on her biophysical profile, we got to go home today! I am getting around very slowly and in some pain but very thankful because I know things could have been worse.
Off to catch up on everything I missed.

We moved our 1st u/s by a day so that we could both attend a close friend's father's funeral - so it's on Friday 6.28 at 11am (central time).
I'm feeling pretty nervous about it, mostly because it's never gone well before in the 3 previous "1st ultrasounds". Mister D is feeling optimistic. I'm feeling middle of the road. If things go well, I think I'll feel pretty good and I might make a clicky ticker.

AFM, I have my luteal phase biopsy on Friday morning and then hopefully AF will arrive sometime around next Tuesday and my cycle will begin! I should be stimming by the end of the next week, yahoo!

I had my ER today finally and they got.....get this.....45 eggs. YES, 45 EGGS!!!!!!!!!!!!! My three IVF cycles combined only gave me 4 more than this just one cycle, LOL I'm going to have an update on my patient portal tomorrow so I'm very hopeful for a good report

In non-IF news, my sweet 10 year old kitty lost a third of her body weight over the past few months so we took her to the vet Saturday. The vet thought for sure she had hyperthyroidism, but after reviewing her blood work, we got a curve ball and they now are pretty sure it's feline diabetes. Sucky. I'll find out for sure tomorrow, but this will mean twice daily insulin shots and regular paw/ear pricks for glucose monitoring. We will also have to attend an injections class ASAP. It's crazy to be thinking about giving shots to my cat on top of the injections I'll be doing myself. It's going to just be one of those things we will get used to, I'm sure. The things we do for the little furry ones that we love.
Still no updates on my embryos shipping, and I'm still fighting with my insurance. One of these weeks I'll have a better update than that....I hope!

As for my update, I'm starting monitoring tomorrow for twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome, since we have mo-di identicals. Hoping we don't have an early issues.

April 2012: MRI- questionable cyst 8mg by 12mm in pituitary ; referred to RE by Ob-gyn after amenorrhea x 4+ months, provera ineffective, low estrogen level
cycle 1: May 2012, clomid 50mg; cycle cancelled, thin lining, no response
cycle 2: June 2012, femara 5mg; cycle cancelled, no response
cycle 3: July 2012, femara 7.5mg; cycle cancelled (largest folli on Cd12 & cd 16: 11, lining 4)
Repeat MRI July 25,2012- Cyst unchanged, likely old infarction.
Aug. 8: met with RE, move to injectables if HSG and SA normal
Aug. 23: HSG all clear; DH- perfect
Switched to a new RE in early Sept. IVF here we come
Genetic testing reveals: Fragile X- Intermediate risk/grey zone.
IVF#1: ER 11/30: 14 retrieved, 10 mature, 7 fertilized. E2 prior to trigger 5200. Decision made to freeze 6 embryos and transfer later due to OHSS.
IVF#1.2/FET #1: estrogen injects start 1/18, FET delayed to try to thicken lining. lining 5.4mm. FET- 2/18- transferred one 3AA expanded blast. BFP 5dp5dt. Beta #1- 2/27 9dp5dt- 102.27 beta #2 3/1: 147
FET # 2: endometrial scratch 5/6, added estrace vaginally and ASA to delestrogen and PIO. June 10- transferred one 4AA hatched embryo, BFP 4dp6dt, Beta 1 (9dp6dt) 187, Beta 2 (11dp6dt): 412; Beta 3 (15dp6dt ): 4452. U/S #1- one beautiful embryo with a heartbeat of 133 at 7 weeks. 8 weeks: heartbeat 156. EDD 2/26/2014: born 2-3-14 induced due to Pre-E and HELLP at 36w5d.

I posted my beta 3 update on IF- we are up to 4452. So far so good. I have to wait another 2 weeks until the first ultrasound. I've been spotting for a week now but the betas have been somewhat reassuring to me. Hope you all are having a great week so far.

Yes totally new protocol and a new RE.... He took away my Menopur and the MDL and gave me a higher dose of Follistim and a low dose hcg then gave me Ganirelix. I'm also taking coq10 and baby aspirin. He also didn't trigger me with Ovidril I had 6,000iu of the hcg instead. I'm nervous for my report today!!! Ill be constantly refreshing my patient portal!!!
