Anyone have any tips on finding an RE that is willing to work with high-FSH patients? I came across some older posts about high-FSH and several women recommended finding a new RH that is "high FSH-friendly". I'm looking for a new RE for a second opinion but not sure how to find someone that will work with me.
(History - secondary infertility after almost 3 years TTC. Several failed IUIs, 2 cancelled IVF cycles. Elevated FSH (17-18) and little to no response to stims.)
TIA for any suggestions, ladies!!

There are several clinics throughout the US that are known for specializing in working with DOR and POF patients - also known as High FSH, Low AMH, Low AFC, Poor Responders, etc. I see that you are in OH. One that comes to mind in the NE is Dr. Check at the Cooper Institute in New Jersey. I know there are many others. I think there are some at Cornell that are well-known, too. There is also a a well-known clinic out of NY that works with DOR ladies, but I tried to consult with them and got a huge "money grab" feeling so shut that down very quickly. I've talked to others who have felt the same way.
A "high FSH friendly" RE doesn't necessarily mean that other RE's won't work with you, it just means that some clinics have a lot more experiencing in working with these type of patients and are on he forefront.
You might try search high fsh forum 54 and asking there, too, for RE's in your area.

Thanks for the advice. I think I came across the one you're referring to in NY and I got the same feeling.
