FET tomorrow!

Had my last u/s and bw this morning.  Lining is good and I'm cleared for transfer tomorrow!  Need to do the lovely Medrogel tonight and then the frozen suppository tomorrow at 11am.  They will be calling me tomorrow morning after they thaw my embies to let me know what time in the afternoon the transfer is!  I'm so excited round 2 is finally here!  I really hope it works this time.

Now 2 questions I need help with... since seeing that post yesterday about sex before FET with better success - do I or don't I?  Tell me your experience with that!?  Also, I need to make a decision about laser acupucture before and after the transfer that will help with implantation.  It's $200.00 but if its known to better the chances then its worth it!  Wanted to know your opions on whether you did the acupuncture and there was sucess?  I assume laser is not much different than the normal acupuncture way.  TIA!!!

Tentative IVF dates: ER - 4/27 and ET - 5/3!! DELAYED.
IVF #1 - May 6 - Estrace
May 17 - started injections!
ER and ET end of May!! BFFN :(
FET #1 - June 28th - BFP!!!! :)
Beta #1 - 164, Beta #2 - 381
1st u/s 7/16/13 - 2 sacs with yolks! 1 smaller than the other - Possible Twins?! 
2nd u/s 7/26/13 - 1 healthy baby with heartbeat of 123bpm! Second sac empty. Next u/s 8/5/13.
8/5/13 (7w2d) - no heartbeat. Lost our precious LO :-/
D&C on 8/12/13 - finally neg hcg 2 months later on 10/3/13.
Saline Songram on 10/10/13 - found polyp :-( post-poned again.
Hysteroscopy on 10/29/13.
FET #2 - BFP!!!! :-) 
Beta #1 - 265, Beta #2 - 692
12/24-12/28 (6w) - lost our LO (2nd miscarriage in a row)
RPL panel and Karyotyping; results all normal!
Started bcp's 1/24/14; saline sonogram 1/30/14 - All clear!!
IVF #2 02/15/14; ER 02/26/14 - freeze all due to mild OHSS. 
7 blasts; PGD on all 7 - all 7 normal!!!
FET #3 4/8/14; BFP!! :-)
Beta #1 - 235, Beta #2 - 539
1st u/s - It's TWINS!!!!
2nd u/s- both babies measuring on track! Heartbeats of 118 and 122!!
EDD: Christmas Day!!!

    I have no knowledge of acupuncture, honestly I don't believe in it but that's just me. I was never told to have or not to have sex before a fet. I would assume it doesn't really matter. I always chose not to have sex the night before for the simple reason I don't want my tootoot to smell like sex when my RE has his face down there. But this is just my opinion. Good luck tomorrow!!

    Yay so exciting!! I don't know if having sex the day before transfer helps anything but if you're up for it tonight I say go for it! It could be awhile until you get to have sex again ha
    I have never done regular or laser acupunture although my RE offers it.

    Good luck tomorrow!!

    As far as your questions, no experience with either as this is my first IVF cycle. We were told to abstain 3 days prior to retrieval and then to continue abstaining until the beta. And, I chose to do the acupuncture (traditional). It was so relaxing and calmed me...I felt it was very worth it. Whether it was "successful" or not...I'll know in 8 more days :)

    GL tomorrow!  I didn't have the option to do laser acupuncture, I just did regular acupuncture the day before and after.  We also didn't bed the night before for pretty much the same reasoning as Crystal.

    I love the tootoot! Had me cracking up. But I agree

    We did the BD the morning of my FET!!! LOL.  I have gotten 2 positive HPt's at 5d and 6d post transfer...still waiting for beta

    Also I took a shower after the BD and my toot toot smelled just fine!

    GL! I was the one who posted about BIO the night before. My doctor never said anything either way (I actually asked, and she said it's fine to do it, if you choose).  I will before this next FET since it may help me (perhaps gets blood flow to that area?)

    Just wanted to say that I hope it goes well & your BFP comes soon!

    My TTC Journey:
    Dx: Hypothalamic amenorrhea / mild PCOS (Pretty much a hormone/ovulatory disorder)
    Progesterone to induce period w/ the goal of Clomid - never got period (September 2011). Referred to RE.
    Femera - never responded to the meds (December 2011)
    Clomid with TI - BFN (February 2012)
    Injectables (Menopur) - hyperstimulated/canceled (March 2012)
    Injectables #2 (Menopur) with TI- BFN (May 2012)
    IVF - OHSS (transfer canceled), but 11 frozen! (June 1012)
    FET - 1 transferred on 8/09/12. Beta#1 (11dp5dt): 350.3; Beta#2: 365; Beta#3: 157. Biochemical pregnancy.
    FET # 2 - 1 transferred on 11/01/12. Beta#1 (11dp5dt): 337; Beta#2: 769. BFP!!! 1st ultrasound 11/28/12 showed heartbeat, but measuring 5 days behind. 2nd ultrasound 12/05/12 - miscarriage.
    FET # 3 - 1 transferred on 1/24/13. Beta#1 (11dp5dt): BFN.
    FET # 4 - 2 transferred on 3/21/13.  Bet #1 (11dp5dt): 660; Beta#2: 1,300.  Miscarried at home @ 6 weeks.

    FET # 5 - 2 transferred on 7/12/13.  Beta #1 (10dp6dt): BFN.
    Attempted an IUI in late August 2013, but didn't respond well.
    IVF #2 with PGS - Stims started 10/28 with retrieval on 11/11.  Of 14 mature eggs, 10 fertilized, 4 made it to Day 5 & 1 made it to Day 6. We did PGS on the Day 5 embryos, and 3 of 4 were normal. Had ET on 11/17. Beta #1 (8dp6dt): 203. Beta #2 (10dp6dt): 618. We since had two ultrasounds & on 12/19, our RE released us to the OB.  On 1/02/14, we had our first ultrasound with the OB where we heard the heartbeat.  We are so thankful for the blessing & crossing every finger & toe for a healthy & successful pregnancy.

    I have never used acupuncture but I did go in for a message and it relaxed me a great deal. Go ahead and enjoy yourself the night before b/c you may not get to for a while! Just take a shower after! :)
    Five IUI 's and two 3 day IVF transfers and two chemical pregnancies. Unknown to me at the time was that I was hypothyroid and had endometriosis. All that heartache and money and I would have never gotten pregnant. Time for new RE. New RE found the thyroid and endo. I had another 5 day transfer in April when all 7 embryos arrested on day four. Transferred three morali and didn't conceive. Thyroid function is excellent now. DH SCSA came back perfect. Now for IVF number four in June 2013. I had two perfectly expanded blasts put back and five frosties! I have never gotten this far! Now to wait for blood test on 6/26. My heart is In my throat! Please let this work, BFP with HPT 7 days and 8 days after transfer.

    FET #1- bcp start 6/9. ET 7/12. 2 perfect blasts.5dpt-BFP!! 
    Beta 7/24 -1,239!! Beta 7/26- 2569 Beta 7/29- 7120.  U/S 8/7 hb 118! U/S 8/14 hb 143! U/S 8/20 hb 170. Graduated!! Stick baby stick!

    good luck Irish also pulling for you.. I haven't done acupuncture so I'm not sure. but I know with my fet coming up i'm on Lupron so bd wouldn't do anything in my case.

    8/13: FET #1 (x1 4AA)=First EVER BFP 4dp5dt!! d&c @ 6.5 wks, blighted ovum
    10/13: FET #2 (x2 4AA)= BFP 4dp5dt! Twins!!, perfect u/s then spontaneous m/c @ 5 wks
    11/13= RPL/Karotyping= MTHFR Homozygous c667t
    1/14= FET #3 our 2 year anniversary & hopefully our miracle

    Wow, the time went by fast for me...hope it did for you too! I had a fet success, did not have sex at out of fear it would cause some bleeding ( not science based, just my crazy thought). I did do laser acupuncture before and after, and the studies on this at my clinic are very strong. It was relaxing, I say go for it!

    Boy/girl fraternal mono/di twins-- lost our sweet baby girl at 22 weeks due to SIUGR
    Preterm labor at 23 weeks 4 days, lost our sweet baby boy.
