Late Term and Child Loss

Way to go legislators!

Way to go! They recently passed legislation that will be more helpful for families experiencing loss due to stillbirth, I believe in NJ or PENN (though the article isnt exactly clear.)

We delivered in a state that handles stillbirth rather well, but even here there are not processes in place in each hospital. You may have a hospital and a doctor that handles you well, and you may not. I hope that this continues to improve so that people who experience loss can be equipped and supported by their communities. Hope more states follow their lead.

  • This legislation is in NJ. The second part is relating to the uniform collection of data to help in research efforts to learn more about what causes still birth.
