  RSVP means to respond either way.

  Regrets only is the way to respond if you are not going.

  The literal translation is "respond please", so respond either way.

  People are so bad about this, though.

  Yes, people are horrible about this! I can't understand..it just doesn't seem that hard to me.. but I guess people get busy and forget

  I always respond but know a ton of people who don't. It's really rude IMO not to.

  LOL!! Yeah, I have been thinking that it's rude not to respond either way, however, I'm pretty sure people are just busy and forget!

  RSVP means respond whether you plan to attend or not.

  Respond either way and typically if a date is listed - respond by that date.
