Hi TPR ladies,
To welcome the official start of summer, I thought it would be nice to start a fun, lighthearted poll about all things summer....
1) Are you a beach or pool person? And why?
2) What is your favorite summer?
a. Food
b. Song and/or movie
c. Fragrance
d. Activity
e. Vacation spot
f. Mani and/or Pedi color
Me: AMA, DOR, undetectable AMH, carrier of SMA, MTHFR homozygous C677T, high cytokines, low IGg B cells, Factor XIII V34l mutation, High Anti-Phosphatidylethanolmine, borderline hypothyroid and mildly insulin resistant.
MH: No known issues, aside from MTHFR.
Recommendations from RI: LIT, Humira, IVIG, Lovenox, Baby Aspirin, Folic Acid, Low-dose synthroid and Metformin.
Currently taking: Pre-Natal vitamins, Foltanx, Low-dose synthroid and Metformin.
When cycling also taking: Baby Aspirin, Lovenox, Humira and IVIG.
TTC since 7/11/09..with medical intervention starting in 2010, including 4 failed IVF's and 6 failed IUI's...only "success" was a chemical pregnancy in 11/2012 (credited to use of DE).
FET #1 (11th cycle) on 8/23/13 = BFN.
FET #2 (12th cycle) Transfer of last two (day 6) donor egg blasts on 1/22/14 = BFP, EDD = 10/10/14 (please stick little BOY!)

1) Are you a beach or pool person? And why? I prefer the pool, as I'm not too fond of the sand (LOL)
2) What is your favorite summer?
a. Food = BBQ
b. Song and/or movie = "Summer nights" from the movie Grease
c. Fragrance = Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess
d. Activity = Visiting craft fairs or local festivals
e. Vacation spot = New England, particularly Newport, RI
f. Mani/Pedi color = I love bright corals, hot pinks or bright oranges for summer time (some of my favs are from China Glaze: Flip Flop Fantasy, Pool Party, Surfing for Boys)

a. Food Baked beans at a BBQ.
b. Song and/or movie Brown Eyed Girl by Van Morrison makes me think of summer.
c. Fragrance I rarely wear perfume/body spray so I'm going to say my fav summer smell is Banana Boat Tanning Oil.
d. Activity Kayaking
e. Vacation spot I frequently have the urge to hop on a plane to Playa del Carmen or Los Cabos!
f. Mani and/or Pedi color Light pinks.

we have a pool and I'm in it all the time, in fact I'm about to go in it right now.
2) What is your favorite summer?
a. Food- watermelon, goat cheese and mint salad. Very Mediterranean.
b. Song and/or movie- I don't know
c. Fragrance- issey miyake
d. Activity- hiking, swimming and laying in the pool with a vodka lemonaid
e. Vacation spot- Hawaii
f. Mani and/or Pedi color- right now I'm into mint green and corral.
2 What is your favorite summer
a. Food watermelon, or water ice
b. Song and/or movie Summertime by Sublime
c. Fragrance plain old Palmer's cocoa butter lotion for summer
d. Activity playing with the dog, or going strawberry and blueberry picking

1) Are you a beach or pool person? And why? If the water isn't weedy or gross, then I'm a beach girl all the way. Plus, I don't know anyone who owns a pool anymore!

a. Food Italian sausage on the grill with stadium sauce from Miller Park
b. Song and/or movie Song: Anything I can roll my windows down to and sing super loud while I'm driving. Don't have a movie.
c. Fragrance Fresh air throughout the house in the morning.
d. Activity Just being outside in general!
e. Vacation spot My parents have a cottage on a lake. I also love visiting my grandparents, who live in the North Woods.

This is probably my least favorite summer activity. It's the end of June and this is the first year everything I touched hasn't died yet!! I hope someday I will enjoy having things grow, but right now it's a fight just to keep my stuff alive

a. Food - Smoked Turkey Legs! Like at the fair, but my DH makes them the very best.
b. Song and/or movie - Song is definitely Jason Mraz - I'm yours. I picture sitting on a white sand beach every time I hear it. And I love singing along!
c. Fragrance - Any coconut smells! It's the only time of year I can get away with it.
d. Activity - Being in Texas, my first reaction is to say "be inside with the a/c turner way high" lol. But I'll go with tubing down the local rivers here in Central Texas.
e. Vacation spot - Providenciales, Turks and Caicos. Hands down. Heaven.
f. Mani and/or Pedi color - Probably french pedi. It just screams summery sandal season!

3/27/13 - After beta and u/s hell, no heartbeat ever detected. D&C at 9w1d.
6/5/13 - Adopted four new embryos that had been frozen for seven years!
9/12/13 - DEmbryo FET #2. Thawed and transferred two beautiful blasts
9/17/13 - BFP @ 5dp6dt! EDD 05/31/14
9/29/13 - m/c @ 5w1d.
11/19/13 - DEmbryo FET #3. Thawed and transferred one blast from each batch. Wow!
11/23/13 - BFP @ 4dp6dt! EDD 8/7/13

6w5d ultrasound showed one perfect baby with a beautiful heartbeat of 134bpm!

Definitely beach, I love the sand and the waves

a. Food: Grilled chicken and salads...the produce is so much better
b. Song and/or movie: I would have to say Jack Johnson makes me think of summer. Laid back and fun
c. Fragrance: coconut anything...sometimes I buy coconut lotion in the winter just to remind myself it will be summer again someday!!
d. Activity: jogging outdoors, farmer's markets, going down to the beach at night with my husband for a frozen yogurt
e. Vacation spot: Cape Cod...doubt we will make it there this year, but it's the best
