LoCarb probably just got me fired...

I was hooking my computer up to the smartboard and it automatically synched (which it NEVER does) and of course LoCarb's siggy was up front and center since I was reading the Wednesday Letters. That was appropriate to show a room full of preteens...

 

FAIL!

    I played a video that I didn't preview (rated PG) but it had cussing in the first five minutes. I seriously thought I was getting fired (6th graders in a Catholic school). Maybe they won't remember? You'd be surprised at how much cussing and things doesn't even register with kids anymore.

    We watched a movie rated PG that had swear words.  The kids giggled and gasped.  Honestly, the kids hear worse in the hallways - but then again I teach high school.

     I showed a 9/11 documentary to the kids (seniors) and it had a lot of cuss words, but it was actual footage, not "recreated" and you're right, I stressed out and I don't even think it registered with the kids.
