DOMA has been ruled unconstitutional!

I know this is a hot button issue but I also know a lot of you ladies are following this so just wanted to let you know ..... DOMA has been ruled unconstitutional!!!! Let?s hope this trend keeps going!

    Just saw this!  I'm so happy I'm crying!

    Gay pride parade in NYC is this Sunday!!  It was crazy last year after gay marriage was made legal in NY, and I'm sure it will be just as fantastic this year!!!! 

    ETA: This calls for some dancing...

    I just texted my brother who is gay and will be away from social media today and he just sent back "This is even better then the day I got married leagally in New York." Ahhh I am so excited to go to work tonight to party with all of my co-wokers at the LGBT center!

    I find it interesting that all the female justices voted for it and the only dissenters were men. I guess they don't know what it's like to be a minority or be discriminated against.

    Glad they came to the right decision.

    Really! Wow! 5-4 vote is too close if you ask me. I was surprised it wasn't more like a 6-3, or 7-2.
    Expecting Baby #3 to complete our family.

    So happy with the DOMA ruling!  Was hoping for more on the Prop 8 ruling... but I'll take it!  Maybe next session they will finally have the guts to take a case that will allow them to rule bans on gay marriage unconstitutional and actually do it!

    I'm not as thrilled about the Voting Rights Act, but oh well, you can't win 'em all.

    I promise to never forget that this little dude deserves just as much love after the baby comes as he has now.

    Progress! We have a ways to go, but this is a great step in the right direction!

    Too long we have been living on Animal Farm, where "All animals are equal, but some are more equal than others."  I am happy to see our country improving!
