Good morning, ladies and welcome to our new ladies. This is the weekly February PgAL check-in. This is a place for any lady due February 2014 that has suffered a previous pregnancy loss. PgAL is an exciting but very scary place to be so this is a place to find support and comfort from others that have similar experiences.

I'm 5 weeks and 5 days. Right now I'm an apple seed, soon to be sweet pea!

Emotionally I'm nervous because I've never made it to 6 weeks. Praying this week continues to go well!

First appt is 07/08 and they said they'll probably do an u/s!

I read and write and love cooking. I've always wanted to learn how to sew and knit.

Hi all! I'm joining you. I had a natural m/c in November at 7w4d. We were also told a few weeks ago, we would need fertility aid to have another one. Well, Surprise!! EDD is 2.19. That may change when I go to the dr.

I have an almost 2 year old little boy who is the greatest joy! I'm worried because his world is about to be turned upside down and he has no clue.

I'm 6 weeks today and a sweet pea.

Emotionally: Really nervous and trying not to be too excited.

My first appointment isn't until 7.10. They will probably do an u/s and who knows what else.

QOTW: What are your hobbies? What is something you wish was a hobby but you have never been able to pick up?

My husband and I are big sports people. We love going to different events. I also like to be crafty. I'm a Kindergarten teacher, so I'm always looking for new crafts for them!

I wish I could decorate cakes. I'm pretty good at cupcakes and baking. I just don't have the time to put into it.

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? Physically...Full blown ms, Constipated, sour boobs, cramping, and exhausted. Emotionally, trying to stay calm as doom day approaches on Saturday. Stick baby stick!

Upcoming appointments? July 5th....9 more days!!!!

Any PgAL crazy you want to add? I am loving the symptoms. But cramps still me running for the bathroom!

QOTW: What are your hobbies? What is something you wish was a hobby but you have never been able to pick up? I have lots of hobbies. Reading, bike riding, cross stiching, sewing and swimming. I would love to be able to run, But I hate it And it makes my knees hurt.

How far along are you? Fruit? 8w5d, raspberry (although my WTE app says "green olive," which I prefer, because it seems bigger)
How are you feeling physically/emotionally? Physically, OK; my constant hangover analogy is still accurate. Mentally, eek. See "appointments."
Upcoming appointments? We have our second ultrasound today at 1. Even though we saw a beautiful heartbeat two weeks ago, I'm still feeling pretty anxious. OK, REALLY anxious!
QOTW: What are your hobbies? What is something you wish was a hobby but you have never been able to pick up? I like to read, travel, hike, draw and paint. When I'm not pregnant, I love to run and ride my bike. I wish I could play the guitar. I understand the concepts but lack the patience to learn!

I wish your WTE app didn't use 'green olive' bc it made me gag reading it!! I can not wait to see the wonderful update from your ultrasound today. Baby Books is going to look great!

I tried to learn to play the guitar when I was in high school. It hurt so I quit.

How far along are you? Fruit? Sweet Pea!!!

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? Today is a good day physically, Monday my MS really hit hard but since then it hasn't been to bad Emotionally I'm trying to stay strong but its easier said then done as you all know!

Upcoming appointments? We have our first u/s on Friday which is when we found out we miscarried last time.

Any PgAL crazy you want to add? I'm just scared to death to go in for the ultrasound and see that blank screen again!!!

QOTW: What are your hobbies? What is something you wish was a hobby but you have never been able to pick up? I love animals, I grew up on a farm and they were my hobby. Now I live in the city and dream about someday living in the country again!!!

My EDD is Feb 16th!

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? A little nauseous, tired.
Upcoming appointments? Next week
Any PgAL crazy you want to add? Today is my loss milestone. If I can get through today I'll feel better but as of right now, PgAL brain is going into overdrive. On my loss day I experienced 1 good cramp, visited the washroom and everything hit the fan. It all occurred at 5:30pm (I know this because DH had just gotten home and I always check the clock as I'm walking. The bathroom). This morning, that same cramp is visiting me but so far no blood. I'm sure everything is fine, it's just the day that's freaking me out. If I can get past that dark hour I might just throw a party for myself. I will have officially made it longer than any other pg I've experienced.
QOTW: What are your hobbies? What is something you wish was a hobby but you have never been able to pick up? I enjoy reading, cooking, crafts, gardening, music. I wish i had gotten into jogging, but a knee injury ended the chance of that in a hurry.

How far along are you? Fruit? 6 weeks today/sweet pea!

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? Nervous as always. My ute area felt sore all afternoon yesterday, so I'm hoping that is just stretching. I don't have many symptoms at all, so that still freaks me out. I should stop stressing about that though.

Upcoming appointments? First ultrasound is this Friday. I'm hopeful, terrified, and excited all at the same time. This will be my first non-emergency and very much scheduled ultrasound. So, that counts for something, right?!

Any PgAL crazy you want to add? Just the lack of symptoms and having cramps every day has me in a tizzy. I know that symptoms aren't always the best indicator whether things are going well or not, but I just wish I had something other than cramps and heartburn. My mom said she didn't have symptoms with me or my sister, so maybe I'm like her. Also, I caught DH rubbing my belly yesterday while he thought I was sleeping. I think that is really sweet and I'm happy he loves this little embryo already, but I'm scared of disappointing him again.

QOTW: What are your hobbies? What is something you wish was a hobby but you have never been able to pick up? Forgot my hobby. I don't really have any other than shopping and cooking. I used to like to bake and decorate cakes, but I've kind of let that fall by the wayside. I wish I could sew!

I know the lack of symptoms can be a real b!tch. Hopefully your planned! ultrasound Friday will bring you some comfort. I can't wait to hear the good news.

EDD- 2-9-14

How far along are you? 7weeks 3 days size if a blueberry. How are you feeling physically/emotionally? Kinda feeling nervous and happy . Had a MC in March So been praying all goes well. Been eating alot, cramping , and real tired .

How far along are you? Fruit? 7 weeks/blueberry

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? physically not bad, I'm tired nauseous and have sore boobs. Its been pretty consistent. Emotionally I am super stressed out a lot is going on right now I know I need to chill but its not easy.

Upcoming appointments? 1st ultrasound tomorrow, I want to be positive but I know it can go either way.

Any PgAL crazy you want to add? not at the moment

QOTW: What are your hobbies? What is something you wish was a hobby but you have never been able to pick up?

My hobby is scrapbooking, I never have time for it but I love doing it. I also like to cook/bake. I wish I could sew/knit. I've tried a few times but don't have enough patience.

Can I join??? EDD Feb 4th. This is my 7th pregnancy, I have 2 children. We will be finding out the sex of this baby. My last m/c was in March 2013. This was going to be our last pregnancy...we weren't going to try again. It has definitely been an emotional roller coaster. I thought I had an ectopic pregnancy, everything turned out fine. Then 3 days after we found out everything was fine, I started bleeding heavily. I thought for sure it was over...yesterday's follow up u/s showed the baby measuring right on track with a great hb! I am still shocked!

I'm 8w1d. Feeling fine really...I get an occasional wave of nausea, but most of my symptoms went away which is another reason I didn't think this pregnancy was going to last!

I wish I read more...with 2 kids and working full time, there's not enough hours in a day!

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? physically I actually feel great other than being pretty tired - the fact that I feel fine physically is making me feel not-fine emotionally. Not that I want to trade places with any of you suffering from m/s, but a little something would make me feel more confident. Upcoming appointments? second appt in two weeks Any PgAL crazy you want to add? I thought I'd feel great after hearing the heartbeat last week and I did... for a little while. Now I am convincing myself that a lot of bad stuff could still happen so we shouldn't spill the beans until the end of July. QOTW: What are your hobbies? What is something you wish was a hobby but you have never been able to pick up? I like to bake, read, exercise, and do crafts. I wish I was into knitting, and I also wish I could play golf or tennis.

DH is a GREAT tennis and golf player. He played both in HS. I'm the type of person that can usually catch on to most sports and even if I'm not great, I'm good enough to play and enjoy it.... Except for gold and tennis. I HATE those sports. I can't get the hang of either and I just get so frustrated when I try!

How far along are you? Fruit? 7 weeks, 3 days - blueberry I think?
How are you feeling physically/emotionally? I'm doing pretty good. Symptoms have gone away except for the headaches. I'm already having problems with my blood sugar levels so it looks like I have to start the GD diet early.
Upcoming appointments? I had another ultrasound yesterday. Everything looked great - baby was measuring 7 weeks and HR 150. My next appointment is at 11 weeks.
Any PgAL crazy you want to add? After my appointment yesterday I had to get some blood work done. I noticed my pee strip laying on top of the cup. Mine was the only test with a dark purple dot. I've been a bit worried about that but I'm sure they would call if it was anything bad.
QOTW: What are your hobbies? What is something you wish was a hobby but you have never been able to pick up? Right now I don't really have any hobbies. I was a runner until the pregnancy and I've had a lot of hobbies in the past but at this point I'm not doing much of anything.

Thank you!!!! I had CD 3 & 7DPO testing done and everything came back normal. My Dr. said she really believes that it was just bad luck. She did start me on Progesterone & Baby aspirin this cycle. She said it may not help but it wont hurt! So I'm crossing my fingers that this time will stick!!!

How far along are you? 6w3d today. I'm a sweet pea!

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? Having quite a bit of nausea this week, feeling exhausted no matter how much I rest, super fluffy BBs and I went up a bra size.

Upcoming appointments? Our 1st u/s is this Friday the 28th. Feeling pretty nervous.

Any PgAL crazy you want to add? I've been doing ok. Really need this 1st u/s to go well (it never has before) and then I'll feel more "into it." Mister D is feeling optimistic. I am feeling middle of the road.

QOTW: What are your hobbies? What is something you wish was a hobby but you have never been able to pick up? I'm kind of a lots-of-hobbies kind of person. I'm artistic and creative (like, for my day job) so in my off time I like to do art stuff in my studio at home and crafty things too. I like making short films.
I also like to sew. I like to bake. I like the outdoors (canoeing, fishing, animal/insect identification). I like music and play the piano and occasionally play guitar, but not that proficiently, yet.

How far along are you? Fruit? 7w5d blueberry

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? Physically, Nauseas from morning until late afternoon, tired, all that jazz. Loving every symptom. Yesterday I didn't have any nausea, which freaked me out. But no worries, it was back with a vengeance when I woke up at 2am. Ha.

Upcoming appointments? First u/s today at 2. Anxious and excited.

QOTW: What are your hobbies? What is something you wish was a hobby but you have never been able to pick up? I like to knit, sew, watch tv, hang out with family. I wish my hobby was exercising. That would be good. ::mobile smiley::

How far along are you? Fruit? 7w6d! I love my little blueberry!

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? My breasts hurt like heck. Nausea is almost non-existent anymore which normally would make me nervous as I threw up all day and night with both boys. But, thanks to my trusty doppler I don't worry anymore. DH and I found baby last night! :-)

Upcoming appointments? July 18th, three weeks away. Seems forever as I have only had one appointment so far. But thrilled to be normal this time around. No betas, weekly ultrasounds, etc. Yay!!

QOTW: What are your hobbies? What is something you wish was a hobby but you have never been able to pick up? I USED to have a hobby making little girl accessories (headbands, mainly). Four months ago my hobby turned business which has been a HUGE blessing. Thank you, Etsy! I have always wanted to travel more, but three kids and one house later---we'll wait a bit.

How far along are you? Fruit? 8w3d, raspberry (since my doctor is sticking with my LMP, although I think I am about 5 days behind that)

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? I am actually not feeling as sick today. I think part of my stomach problems could be due to nerves. Emotionally, much more relaxed.

Upcoming appointments? I had the 8w screen today and got to see the baby with it's little heart beating at 160bpm. My DH got to attend today and I think it finally made it more real for him. My next appt is in 3 weeks on 7/16.

QOTW: What are your hobbies? What is something you wish was a hobby but you have never been able to pick up? I really like to decorate and wish I had more money to spend on it. I've attempted to start sewing, but since we are temporarily living in an apt until we move in August all my stuff is packed away. I will be so glad when we get moved into our new home.

I introduced myself mid week last week so I don't think it was caught (when I joined the group) so I thought I would do it again! My miscarriage was in 2009 at 13 weeks. We had had a problem with insurances and it was our first ultrasound. They said baby stopped growing at around 11 weeks. Had a d&c shortly after. My rainbow baby was born 6/11/2011 and is a happy, healthy 2 yr old! EDD 2/15/2014

How far along are you? Fruit? 6w4d currently a sweet pea!

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? Physically I have very few symptoms which doesn't help my PgaL brain.I have some cramping, my boobs are a little sore but only at night when I take off my bra. I'm hungry. A little tired. That's it.

Upcoming appointments? First ultrasound/apt is 7/9 (seriously still 2 weeks away?!?!)

Any PgAL crazy you want to add? I am really trying to stay out of my head. I have POAS 4 times already, the last time on a FR the control line was only about half there and the pregnancy line was super dark. ANYONE HAD THAT HAPPEN?!? Bc of course it made my brain go into overdrive. Just trying to take it one day at a time.

QOTW: What are your hobbies? What is something you wish was a hobby but you have never been able to pick up? Right now I am really into re-purposing old furniture and other items! Basically I find old beat up furniture and other items at flea markets and garage sales and paint/stain them (well now hubby does this part lol) and make them beautiful again!! I would really love to learn to sing! I LOVE music, but can't sing a lick lol

how far along are you? Fruit? I am guessing 7 wks 4 day. Blueberry. maybe a few days less. They couldn't determine it with my last ultrasound because it was too early.

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? I am pretty good about not throwing up but not this time. I puked and feel sick. At least those are symptoms I didn't have before.

Upcoming appointments? This Monday and I am scared out of my mind. it's pretty close to my dooms day and I am scared of another missed miscarriage.

Any PgAL crazy you want to add? I find myself scared to post much on here because I am scared. Especially close to appointments. I don't know why but I find myself just lurking probably until I am out of the first trimester.

QOTW: What are your hobbies? What is something you wish was a hobby but you have never been able to pick up? I love canoeing. Love the outdoors and I always wanted to go kayaking. I want to!

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? Well physically I'm nauseas with occasional vomiting. But I welcome that to be honest! I am tired and dizzy too. Emotionally I am a nervous wreck! I won't reach the milestone till October so yea I am going to be really anxious and afraid. :

Upcoming appointments? July 11 early gestational diabetes test and a harmony test.

Any PgAL crazy you want to add?Just that I pray we all bring healthy babies into the World in February and we all do well too.

QOTW: What are your hobbies? What is something you wish was a hobby but you have never been able to pick up? Cooking and baking and I like to take walks.

How far along are you? Fruit? Adjusted after my u/s, 7 weeks today! So blueberry

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? It's been really hot here for the last couple days and it is NOT helping the nausea. Still not throwing up, thank goodness, but I'm battling some serious waves of ick. Mentally, breathing a HUGE sigh of relief after picking up a HB this morning! I know I'm far from out of the woods, but we didn't get this far last time and it's a wonderful feeling!

Upcoming appointments? First apt with the NP is 7/12.

Any PgAL crazy you want to add? I was so nervous about the u/s last night that I took my last PG test I had in the house last night, just to make sure it still said "pregnant."

QOTW: What are your hobbies? What is something you wish was a hobby but you have never been able to pick up? I like to read, write, cook and bake. I've always wished I was more athletic (I've tried to get into running a few times, my knees just don't agree), and I've always wanted to learn how to knit, but when I tried to teach myself, I could NOT figure out how to purl for the life of me! I made some lovely garter stich scarves, though!

6 weeks 2 days; sweet pea!

How are you feeling physically/emotionally?
I'm currently laying in bed, worked 12 hour nights last night and went to bed a whole 4 hours ago, trying to quell the nausea so I can get up and get cleaning fit DD's 2nd birthday party tomorrow. And I spent part of my nigh dry heaving and feeling like death. So exciting! Lol emotionally I'm a ball of nerves....this is the week the last 2 babies stopped growing...ugh

Ultrasound July 2nd!!! So freakin' scared

I keep preparing myself for no heartbeat next week...dreading this ultrasound as much as I'm excited for it

How are you feeling physically/emotionally?

I'm nervous about everything. When I feel stuff coming out of me I immediately run to the restroom. So far it's all been discharge.

July 8th is my first appointment, they won't see anyone before 8 weeks.

Just being nervous about everything. I just want to make sure everything is ok.

I'm a gardener and I make candles. I haven't made any in a while and wish I had time to do it more.

6wks, 1 day - a sweet pea

Physically - so bloated, headaches all day, ute feels full and RLP when sneezing, or if I am in a weird position.

Emotionally - i just feel like something will be wrong. This is crazy, but i told my husband that i think i have a blighted ovum. I just feel like that hasn't happened to me yet, so it is bound to.

Appt - u/s on monday. I am excited and scared to go all at the same time.

pgal crazy - see above :-)

GTKY - i love crafts. Sewing, painting, diy decorations, etc. I wish I could be more into running. I only really run to get into shape for the summer and/or loose baby weight. I've done a few races, but generally don't enjoy it. I wish I could learn to enjoy running and not think of it as a form of torture!

How are you feeling physically/emotionally?
Extremely tired. My boobs have been hurting a little and I've had a little cramping but I really believe its gas. Also the nausea started at 6 weeks exactly. It's not too bad though.

Upcoming appointments?
My first ultrasound was today and baby was measuring right on track with a beautiful heartbeat of 137! I graduated from RE and ill call my OB tomorrow to make an appt. My progesterone is still at only 17 so I will stay on Crinone until ten weeks.

I'm involved in church and enjoy doing that and mostly anything that involves spending time with dh.

My intro, I'm Angel, my EDD is 2/13 I had 2m/c's, one in Feb 2010 a missed m/c at ten weeks, and one in January 2011, at 4 weeks. DD was born October 20,2011. I'm looking forward to DD becoming a big sister!!

Hi, my name is Mindy. I am pregnant now for the second time. Last summer I had a BO that wasn't diagnosed until 12w5d.

How far along are you? Fruit? 7 weeks, Blueberry

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? Physically, I've officially been hit with the exhaustion and nausea. Emotionally, I'm terrified and frustrated.

Upcoming appointments? I finally got an appointment for my first ultrasound. I go in next Tuesday morning

Any PgAL crazy you want to add? I'm having difficulty accepting "congratulations" until I get verification that there's really something going on this time.

QOTW: What are your hobbies? What is something you wish was a hobby but you have never been able to pick up? I raise chickens. I also enjoy gardening and I crochet in the winter. I'd like to be able to sew, but I always get frustrated when I try to learn.

After slowly increasing betas and spotting for the last two weeks I now have a new kind of loss to add to my growing list: ectopic pregnancy. I had emergency surgery this morning to remove my ruptured tube. This is the final straw for us and we will be happy with the two kids we have.
