XP: PP Bleeding and Period

Thursday will be 6 weeks since delivery and I have my six week appointment that day as well. I thought I was done with PP bleeding as of last Wednesday. Last night I noticed light bleeding on the toliet paper and again tonight. I have had light cramps since last week and I still have them now. So I am wondering if this is the start of AF. I am hoping if it is that it doesn't fully start until after my appointment Thursday. STM do you know if this will impact my six week appointment? It will stink if it is the return of AF because I will have no real break from the bleeding. I will call tomorrow to see if I need to reschedule if it turns out to be full flow. Could this still be PP bleeding?

IVF with PICSI #3: ER 9/8 (11 ER/8 Mature/7 Fertilized)/ET 9/13 (2 AA blastocysts transferred) 
Beta#1, 9/26/12: 719 Beta#2, 9/28/12: 1,436 Beta#3, 10/1/12: 3,446
1st u/s on 10/10/12: It's Twins! We found out on 12/16/12 that we were having two BOYS!
C & D were born on 5/16/13 at 10:46 am and 10:47 am

    I have been shocked at my pp bleeding with twins! It should not affect your six week appointment. It is hard to say if it is more pp bleeding or AF. If your are BF then I would bet it isn't AF already. However, for me with DS AF returned at 8 weeks pp and I EBF for a year. I wasn't sure it was AF until the next month when I started bleeding again.

    I have a singleton but did want to point out that at both 5 and 7 weeks pp I bled. This was after my PP bleeding had stopped, end it was red blood that looked like AF each time.

    It is common to have a recurrence of PP bleeding at 6 weeks. Mine lasted until 9 weeks when I finally had to start the mini pill to get it to stop. FX yours doesn't do that!
    TTC with PCOS since November 2009
    IUI#1 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 3-7) = BFP, m/c
    IUI#2 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 5-9) = BFN
    IUI#3 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 3-7) = BFP!
    beta #1 11/23 = 270, P4 = 75
    beta #2 11/28 = 2055
    Our daughter E was born 7/29/2012!
    Surprise, our 2nd daughter P was born 5/22/14!

    My PP bleeding stopped and then started up again around 6 weeks. I didn't get my first period until 14 mos PP since I was bf'ing.

    I was still bleeding at my six week follow up and my OB didn't say a thing. She just checked my incision scar and did a manual check to make sure my uterus was where it needed to be, but the bleeding didn't impact anything.

    My bleeding would ebb and flow, but once it stopped, I got four weeks off before AF returned in full force.
    TTC in 2009, Dx: Unexplained IF
    Three TI cycles (BFP...miscarriage), five IUI attempts and 2.5 IVF cycles later...BFP!!
    12dp5dt: 765; 15dp5dt: 1979; 17dp5dt: 3379...TWINS!!!!!
    Our perfect baby boys were born at 36w1d!!

    I had the same thing happen. Then ended up having AF at 8 wks pp. this should not affect your appt whatsoever
