I have the Baby Bjorn one from my oldest son and kept it. I have that one in red that has the little white plastic part that comes out for easy cleaning. I also have the one that sits on the actual potty - the ring - and that is Baby Bjorn as well - I liked it because it was adjustable to fit tightly so he was comfortable and didn't feel like it was wiggling under him.
For the little seat I would use flushable wipes to clean it out then had some Clorox wipes to clean it. I never had issues and will use both again for DS #2 when he is ready.

Are the little ones just nasty to clean out? I am thinking of going straight to the little seat that fits on the toilet. But we are no where near potty training.

Maybe, but she is terrified to sit on the big one even with the little thing over it so she fits better. All she wants to do is get down. She loves to sit on things so I'm thinking if we get a small one she can just practice sitting on it to get comfortable and then we can really start trying around 18 months.
We have a little Minnie Mouse one (I think ssimon has the same one - I saw hers and had to copy since DD's bathroom is all Minnie). It says Hip Hip Hooray when you "flush" it. It's super cute We aren't really using it though, but she just started telling us every time she needs a fresh diaper, so she knows what's going on.

I have the baby bjorn potty as well. My only caution is that my little guy sometimes likes to take the white potty out. . . hopefully that loses it's coolness before he tries it after he's actually gone.
When he does go in the potty I dump it in the toilet, then rinse the potty out with hot water from the tub. I actually use toilet cleaner in it (a tiny bit) every month or two and then rise it out really, really well.
