Gender reveal ideas???

I go Monday to find out what we are having... We are revealing to our family what we are having on 4th of July at our cookout... I've heard and seen the cake and balloon ideas... Anyone have any other fun cute ideas.... I have an almost 2 year old that I want to be the major part of the reveal, she doesn't talk much so her just saying what it is, is out... Any ideas are appreciated!!!

I recently saw a gender reveal pinata. If we weren't doing cupcakes already I'd totally be on board with that.

We were going to do the same thing as you, reveal at our 4th of July cookout, but I couldn't keep it in for that long, lol. I thought about the pinata, but I also really liked the colored sparklers idea. Blue for a boy, red for a girl! and who doesn't like fireworks?! Have Fun!

Exciting times!! We had our gender reveal party early June. We too were tired of the cake and balloons so I bought little gift boxes for all the guests and had them filled with pink or blue candies. Then I wrapped them up with cute bows. I liked everyone opening their own boxes and being surprised plus the boxes doubled as party favors. We then had cake to celebrate.

No matter what you do, have fun with it and let us know how u do it!!

I gave out Hershey's bars and colored the He in with blue permanent marker. My friend who is having girl did the she with pink. Just to be a dork, I made sure my bars had nuts. It made people laugh so hard!!

I did the cup cakes and it was a hit. As far as including your daughter, you could have her wear a shirt that reveals the gender. GL, keep us updated.

We just did a glow stick reveal. Had everyone stand in a circle in the dark is best my mom came with us to the Ultrasound and she was the only one to know. She handed everyone either a blue or pink glow stick. We counted to 3 and cracked em open. It was amazing! In my case they were pink : Good luck!!

We are team green but this idea is almost enough to make me want to know!!

Thank you ladies I really like all these ideas I will keep you posted on what it is and how we decide to reveal it!!! I'm so excited I can't wait until Monday... But then keeping it quite until Thursday is going to be hard!!!!!
