How long does it take child to finish bottle?

My babe is 10 months old and still takes forever to finish bottle. We have born free bottles and using level 3 nipples. How long goes if take your baby to drink, how many ounces, and what type of bottle and size nipple? Thanks!

We also use Born Free bottles. Depending on how cranky he is, a 9oz. bottle can take anywhere from 15-30 minutes. If he's relaxed and hungry he can suck it down pretty quickly, but if he puts up a fight then it can take up to 45 minutes.

We use Medela and had the largest nipple but LO was taking forever and most of the time after a few minutes, he would not want the bottle anymore. I would have to beg him to finish a bottle and usually took the whole hour the formula was good for to get him to drink it. Then my mom came to visit and made a bigger hole in the nipple. I was kind of annoyed at first but that's all it took. Now he drinks his milk super fast and he finishes it in one sitting instead of me having to chase him around to get him to finish.

In your case, it might also be that your LO needs a bigger sized hole.

We use Born Free bottles as well and right now DS uses a size 3 nipple. He is a fast eater. We always joke that he eats 8oz in 8 seconds. It only takes about 3-5 minutes to eat a whole 8 oz bottle

Something you could try are Born Free variable flow nipples, they allow your baby to control the flow.
