I have seen DH for maybe 2 whole days this entire month. He started a new job at the beginning of May at a hotel/ casino in the area. He's a manager for te beverage and food service. They are closing the current location and opening a new larger building on Tuesday with a huge grand opening deal. I understand that opening something new like this is huge and takes a lot of work and time for set up, but he was told shifts rarely lasted more than 8 hours and he would have two consecutive days off each week. I have not seen either of those in about a month. Plus, they have changed the projects he's been in charge of twice in the same amount of time. I'm seriously hoping that shiit dies down once the new building opens because I'm getting tired of not seeing DH and getting to spend time together as a family. I had dreams of going on mini vacays this summer while I'm on break but that's no where in sight. Thank goodness that DS is past his newborn/reflux/fussy stages or I think I would have had a nervous breakdown weeks ago. I miss my hubby. I envy any of you who post the pictures that you get to spend time together with your SO.

    I hope so! We are going on vacation next week [yes, during opening week] that they gave him 3 days off when we were supposed to be gone for 8 days because his boss promised him time off when he was hired. It's not going to feel like a vacation for him because I'm sure he will get tons of phone calls. Oh well, I hope things settle down.
