I would love to know what you AP ladies would recommend to read on discipline and working with toddlers on behavior. I was thinking How to Talk so Kids Will Listen... but I'd like to know what else you like.

I was poking around on the adoption board and decided to read the book "Beyond Consequences", which is actually written for parents dealing with children with attachment disorders, but someone on that board recommended it for all parents. Some of it is tough to read, but the philosophy behind it and explanation of how trauma and memory works in developing children, and what kind of discipline is appropriate/helpful, is really interesting and relevant.
