I am hoping you can help me. I'm making gumbo and I don't have stewed tomatoes. 

Here's what I have:

Several cherry tomatoes
Ro-Tel
Tomato paste
Progresso tomato Recipe Starters 

Talk to me. TIA

    When I've had it and made it, it has always contained tomatoes.

    I would use the Rotel, and if that's not enough, slice the cherry tomatoes in half, and add those too. You could put a tablespoon or so of the tomato paste, but I wouldn't add much more than that.

    Aww, mbenny. Thanks for responding! I'm actually in the cleaning-out-the-fridge/freezer mode right now. 

    It is by no means 'cold' here. Wink
