Posting a little early this week! Welcome, again, to our new VBAC hopefuls from last week.

1) How far along are you? 14 weeks

2) Any appointments this week? not this week, had one thursday, baby is growing well and heartbeat is good, I lost a couple pounds, but I lost about 7 during first tri with DS, so doc isn't worried.

3) Any cravings/aversions? Nothing new, aversions seem to be lessening... yay since they have been mainly to protein items.

4) How are you feeling? starting to feel better - yay for 2nd tri!

5) Do you have a specific birth plan? If so and you'd like to, please share. Nothing too specific yet, I didn't have one with DS either, more of a general idea of what I wanted/didn't want. I'm working those out in my head now...

1) How far along are you? 28 weeks today!

2) Any appointments this week? Lots today. Headed to the MFM specialist in a few minutes for an appointment and u/s (I'm high risk, as well as a VBAC hopeful). Then off to my OB for my TDAP booster and Rhogam shot. Then to the chiropractor for my weekly adjustment. Then to the dentist for a cleaning. Whew!

3) Any cravings/aversions? Still craving ice cream!

4) How are you feeling? Mostly good, but having some bouts of nausea and discomfort here and there.

5) Do you have a specific birth plan? If so and you'd like to, please share. I don't really, but didn't with DS either and am thinking it might be a good idea to draft something up this time, even though my doula will know my wishes. Here's what I'd like to include: I'm trying to go epidural free (although this is definitely negotiable!). If possible, I want immediate skin to skin with baby placed directly on my chest. I'd like to breast fed as soon as possible. During our stay, baby will never leave our room, unless medically necessary and then will be accompanied by DH. If I do need a c-section, I want DH to do skin to skin with the baby until I'm out of surgery. That's the jist of my plan, just need to format it all in a polite way!

1) How far along are you? 34 weeks...this is getting pretty real

2) Any appointments this week? Yes. Just a regular appt. with a blood draw tomorrow.

3) Any cravings/aversions? No cravings specifically, but I've been really hungry the last few days...trying to keep it in check though.

4) How are you feeling? Big, but other than that really good.

5) Do you have a specific birth plan? If so and you'd like to, please share. No plan really, but a few guidelines I'd like to follow if possible:

Labor at home as long as possible
Avoid epi so can labor in different positions
Allow water to break on it's own
Skin-to-skin following delivery

Hello, I'm a newbie here but I am planning on a VBAC. My first son was breach so that's the reason for my first C-section.

1) How far along are you? I am just over 27 weeks.

2) Any appointments this week? I just had one this morning. Everything is going great except for some heart burn. We went over my birth plan and my OB/GYN is on board with everything as long as it goes smoothly!

3) Any cravings/aversions? I just don't want to eat meat. For some reason the thought of biting down and chewing on meat just turns me away.

4) How are you feeling? I'm feeling great except for the heart burn.

5) Do you have a specific birth plan? If so and you'd like to, please share. I do have a birth plan but it isn't very specific or detailed. Just general "wants" unless medical intervention is needed. I definitely want the epidural. I would rather tear than have an episiotomy. My husband will cut the cord after it stops pulsing and I want to try and breast feed right away. Other than that we will just go with the flow and see what happens.

Hi and my intro. I've been lurking and loving reading the VBAC success stories! Here is my background: labor #1 vag delivered stillborn twins at 19weeks, they induced me on a Friday morning and they were born at 4:30am on Saturday morning. All in all it was a successful "birth". My OB and I have talked about how I responded to meds and did well. Labor#2: DS had Partial placenta previa and morning of scheduled c/s water broke at 39 weeks on the dot! C/s was moved up a few hours and DS is perfect! Here we are again this time the placenta is in the back and my OB is positive about a VBAC. I am terrified and excited about not having to recover from another c/s.

1- 26 weeks

2-no apts till the end of the month

3-craving sweet things and mustard!

4-feeling tired and BIG I am measuring ahead (this also makes me nervous about a VBAC)

5-my birth plan is to have an u/s make the final call if we should schedule the c/s or wait for labor, hopefully we will go into labor on our own, I am worried that since DS was almost 9 pounds at 39 weeks and this DS#2 is measuring ahead that I will tear or end up with a c/s. epidural is happening as with each labor my contractions piggy back and there is no relief in between and I have a low threshold for pain.
