  Have not delivered here, but have several friends that have.  I have heard they are inducement/c-section happy.  Of the 3 friends I had deliver there in the last 1.5 years all 3 were induced, and one ended up with a c-section.

  I had my daughter there in 2011 and would never go back.  They are very induction and c-section happy.  I was induced and had a c-section.  It was terrible.  I have only known one person to have a vaginal birth there of my friends that delivered there.  They also have a 95% epidural rate and are not at all natural birth friendly.  Southdale and Ridges are 2 hospitals I will never recommend again.

  I had my DD there in 2011.  I have a vaginal birth, but was close to a c-section based on the position of the baby, but she moved enough that I was able to avoid it.

  I went in knowing I was going to request an epidural, so that was never an issue for me. 

  I loved my L&D nurse, but was not at all impressed with the post-partum nurses I had.  I also received very little support when trying to get my DD to nurse.

  BFP #3: 2/22/15 - MC: 3/3/15

  I had DD at Southdale and had a great experience. I was induced due to pree and had a very quick labor/delivery. All my nurses were fantastic and the lactation consultant was amazing. If we have another baby, I will be going back.

  I had DD at Southdale last September. I had a emergency c-section in the end. The staff and nurses were all great. After 4 hours of pushing ad an attempted vacuum delivery DD's stats started to drop and did not go back up, she was taken to the NICU after birth.

  I delivered DS there and honestly, it was a better experience all around. I went in expecting a normal labor, but after laboring normally and then pushing for 3 hours, I ended up having an emergency C-section (he was much bigger than me and stuck). I loved every single one of those nurses, as well as the entire O.R. staff. I really don't have one complaint. We weren't planning on a C-section, but honestly, they made the best of a bad situation.
