Croup

Somehow N managed to get croup in the summer. I was just reading the info online and it says it lasts for 5 to 6 days. Dr said its contagious until she stops coughing. We are on day 3. Has anyone had experience with croup? Does the coughing last the whole 5 to 6 days? the way I see it she's out of daycare for the entire week....

    E had croup a few months ago. It is so sad.

    Did your Dr give him the oral steroid?

    I say it lasted about 10 days total, the cough went away in about 3 after he got the medication.

    It really is so sad. She is usually so happy and smiles all the time, but now is straight up cranky. i would be too!

    She got the oral steroid yesterday.

    Im so nervous about her infecting anyone other children.
