in November 2012 Moms
So now that the little man is sitting up on his own, nap time has been traded for practice. He's so tired but insists on sitting. Every time it's quiet I go in expecting he's asleep but he's sitting up again. Oh boy. No nap yet and it's 1:00

    Also is anyone else's little one only taking one long nap a day?

    It depends on the day. Like today for instance, he decided to go back down only 20 minutes after he woke up this morning. He then slept for 3 more hours. And then he has taken 2 more naps since.

    Although usually he takes one long nap about an hour and a half after waking up in the morning, and then one around 1 or 2 pm for an hour or two.

    Some days though he just has his morning nap. I am not a fan of those days!

    i dread the day when Em learns to sit up because of this!

    Today we have had long nap. I'm hoping for at least a cat nap soon but don't see it happening. He just babbles and sucks on his hands to keep himself awake.

    Yeeeep! It is just a phase though but it is annoying! O did that with sitting, rocking on her knees, and standing up. Ugggghhh. This is just one of those "this too shall pass" moments. It only lasted a few days for us.

    Oh wow!  At least he's quiet for you while he's doing it!

    Hopefully he either learns to nap while sitting, or changes his mind on his preferred nap position soon!

     

    My LO takes 2 long naps (1 or 2 hours), and then sometimes a short 45 minute third nap, though she's been skipping the third little nap about half the time lately and I just put her down to bed earlier those days.
