Ouch! My lower left back and buttock are killing me. Anybody else? I am nauseated because of the pain. Anybody have remedies? I took Tylenol already and I am going to get in th e bath after DS goes to bed. Anything else though?

Re: Sciatica!!!

  • I don't have any immediate remedies but if it continues to bother you go see a chiropractor. I had bad sciatica until early second tri. One visit to the chiropractor and I have been fine since.

  • I hurt much more than I did before... This week seems to be the worst yet.

  • I have had such bad sciatica in my left cheek and leg I could barely sit walk. It gets worse when my son who weighs 33 lbs wants me to pick him up and hold him a lot. The thing that helped me the most was getting into my parents pool this weekend and stretching it out. I hope yours felt better after the bath! I am afraid that I can not even get in and out of my tub anymore so that's not an option.

  • Heat or ice and rest. Mine has come and gone throughout and now add pelvic and hip pain. Not sure about you but I did not have this with my first.

I had major problems with it last week. Laying back in the recliner with a heating pad on the area that hurt seemed to help. It hasn't been nearly as bad sice then. Other people told me to eat bananas, lay on the floor with my legs up in a chair, etc. but none of them helped. Good luck! Hopefully the baby was just laying on that nerve and will move soon :

  • I have had issues with this too. I went and had a massage and that really helped. The massage therapist also showed me some stretches to do to help keep the pain away. Also, laying on a heat pad!
