WW3TD? One more round of Clomid?

My RE's nurse called my yesterday asking what we would like to do next. I told her that we are taking a break and moving on to Femara in August, maybe later (since we are in the process of moving, I don't want to deal with monitoring appointments in August). She said my RE thinks we should try one more round of Clomid for this cycle in July just to see what happens before we move onto Femara (which is unbelievably expensive where I live. Upwards of $300-$400 for a five day supply). I told her I would call back on Monday or Tuesday after I talk with DH.

If we decide to do it, this will be our 4th round. 1st round was 50mg, 2nd was 100mg, 3rd was 100mg, and now he wants to try 150mg. What do you guys think? I haven't responded to the Clomid the first three rounds, but I also haven't had any cysts form from it, nor have I had other bad side effects like thinned lining. Should we just go for it one more time?

I'd do it in a second if money weren't a concern. I'd be asking myself if I have the 400 bucks, and if it was worth it. If the cycle doesn't work, will you have serious regrets about losing the money?

I would probably give 150 mg of clomid a shot since it's considerably cheaper amd you haven't had any issues with lining or cysts.

Do you have target around you? Or Costco?

Femara was 140 for me at Walmart but it's 10 at target and Costco. Call and check prices. They don't file it through insurance. You sign up for a Rx discount program which is free and get the discounted rate.

Say whaaaat?! Totally calling both tomorrow! I'm assuming that price is for the generic form of it?

I know this is your decision, but I would give it another shot... you never know what might happen and you don't want to regret it later.

Thanks ladies! After thinking about it and talking to the hubs, we have decided to do one more round of Clomid. Hoping this is it, but not getting my hopes up too high
