Thank you to those of you who comment on my new cat thread.  We decided to go for it, visited a shelter, and decided on a cat we thought would be a great fit.  But before we made it through the approval process (they call vet and personal references), someone else snapped him up.  I am not surprised -- he was a sweetheart and I am glad he has a home now.  We are going to keep looking, and may end up waiting until after we go on vacation in August so that we don't have to leave a cat that is not quite settled yet.  But I think there is definitely a new furry friend in our future.

As for me, I had my D&C today and it went fine.  Feeling pretty decent and glad to have it over with.  Just had a long awaited dinner after fasting since midnight...I was so freaking hungry!  My wife is off picking up my antibiotics and buying me a large supply of pads.  Stick out tongue  Hope I don't have to wait 8 weeks for AF this time.

Married my wife 8/2007 ~ TTC #1 since 7/2011
9 IUIs = 9 BFNs
IVF October 2012: 22 eggs retrieved, 17 fertilized, 5 frozen
ET #1: 1 blast = BFP; Blighted ovum discovered at 7w5d; D&E
FET #1: 1 blast = BFP; Missed m/c discovered at 9w5d; D&E
Karyotyping: normal ~ RPL Testing: normal ~ Hysteroscopy: normal
FET #2: 1 blast transferred 10/25; BFP 10/31!
EDD 7/13/14 ~ Induced at 37w4d due to pre-eclampsia ~ Born on 6/28/14

    First, happy for you about wanting to get the kitty!!! So exciting!!! Sorry the one you wanted got snapped up, but you will find one or shall I say one will find you.

    Sorry about the dnc today. So hope A F shows up fast for you. I know that was the worst not knowing how long it would take.

    I'm sorry the kitty you wanted got snatched up by someone else.  Waiting until after your vacation sounds like a good plan.

    I'm glad you decided to get a kitty! I'm sure you will find the perfect one soon. I'm sorry about your D&C today- I hope you have a smooth recovery and AF shows quickly!

    Aww, I'm so sorry that the kitty you wanted was adopted before you could complete your application. Once you have a completed application, you will be able to pounce (pun intended!) when the right cat comes along. I wish you the best of luck... Keep us updated.

    Hopefully AF will come quickly for you. (((Hugs)))

    Sorry someone else got your kitty, but it's great that you are getting one in the future.  Can't wait to see pics!  I hope you have an easy recovery and AF shows up sooner rather than later!
