DH and I need one that will connect to both iOS and Droid devices.
Any strong recommendations? All the online reviews I've read make EVERYTHING sound like junk.
My phone is already on all the time. Do you really turn yours off? I just turn the ringer off and plug it in before bed, it sits next to my bed so I can use it to track LO's feedings at night. We also have WiFi at the family lake home.
We want the one with WiFi so that we can view him wherever we are -- on vacation with a nanny at home, when he's home with a sitter, etc.

I don't mean OFF, I mean the screen would have to stay on. That would eat up your battery so fast

I don't think I understand this. So I can't just lean over, tap my phone to bring the app back up, and see the screen? Wouldn't the camera stay on all the time in the nursery and then you'd jsut bring the app up to see it? I obviously don't need to see it when I'm asleep or 24 hours a day.
I don't have one yet since our LO is still in our room but prebaby I did a lot of research... It is between the foscam and the drop cam. We had a winner but I can't remember right now. My DH is an IT so he picked between the two :
