LO's 1st bday

So my niece is having her first birthday party this weekend and I realized that our LO's will be turning 1 in like 3 months. I can't believe it is coming up so quickly! Have any of you ladies started thinking about their party yet? What are your plans?

DX = Endo and right tube blocked
IUI #1-3 - 50mg Clomid, 75iu Gonal, Ovidrel, Progesterone = BFN
IVF #1 - ER = 9R, 9M, 8F; 5DT of 1 embryo (3 frosties) = BFP!!
Beta #1 (17dpo) = 496, Beta #2 (20dpo) = 1318, Beta #3 (22dpo) = 2190

    I started pinning a lot of Cat in the Hat themed ideas on Pinterest. I think we're going with that because E has no interest in TV whatsoever, which is great, but if DS1 is watching some shows in the morning, Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About That is the only one E will pay any attention to. He loves it! It's overall just a really easy and cute theme, and I found way too many cute outfit options on Etsy. And now I need that Someecard for Pinterest making me feel bad, because I definitely don't have the time for most of that stuff. I need to get off Pinterest and Etsy since both will make me spend too much money, too!

    I saw these really cute cupcakes made with Oreo's to look like Mickey ears that I thought was adorable, so now we are basing the theme around that.

    Just reading this post makes me exhausted. I was just planning on having a few friends over. Then grandpa says he's going to fly in from out of state, so now I feel like I need to put some kind of actual party together. Argh.

    Haaahaha! Our friends and family keep talking about the girls' party and I'm like, "what party?" I feel your pain!!

    Thinking about it exhausts me, too. I did a super big party for DS1 for his 1st 2 years ago, and we just did a somewhat big one for his 3rd. Everytime we have them I say I'm never doing it again. And then here I am. But it wouldn't be fair if I didn't do the same for DS2, right? Vicious cycle... I think after this big party for DS2, we'll be done with the big parties aside for any additional kids' 1st birthday parties. We don't live near family though and hardly get to spend time with our "military family" though since everyone is always working, so parties are a good excuse!
