My LO is a little older than 8 months. She's fed oatmeal and a stage 3 gerber jar of whatever daycare chooses at lunch. How many sold meals a day do you give your LOs and how much?
I just wasn't sure how much is too much. I'd love for her to be done with formula asap. It smells awful. I don't measure out her cereal I just pour a third of the jar and add cereal until it's to the thickness I want. After that I just feed her the rest of the jar.
We do 3 solid meals a day (DS is 7.5 months) but how much he eats vary a lot.
b'fast is strips of fruit - usually 6-7 strips of mangoes and peaches
lunch is regular oatmeal mixed with yogurt and fruit. I'd say about 3-4T combined? Sometimes he gets a few extra slices of fruit.
If schedule allows, we may have a snack but that's not daily. I give him a few strips of bread with cheese.
Dinner is highly variable. We give him whatever we're having for dinner that night. Some stuff he likes more and he'll eat a ton (eg, spaghetti), but other things he doesn't like so he won't eat much.

Regardless of solids, formula should be her main nutrition. At a year you can talk to your pedi about other milk options. So only a few more months.
DD is almost 8 months. We do BLW, she had been getting one official meal at dinner where she had been eating little. She has just started really eating so I plan to add breakfast as well tomorrow.
We do fruit (sometimes with oatmeal) for breakfast and veggie for dinner. She's small and not a huge eater so I don't think we'll move to more feedings for a little while. Maybe 9 months.
My LO will be 7 months. I try to give 2-3 solid meals (between 4-6 oz of food each time). 3 meals on good days and when I'm on schedule and 2 meals on days when I'm behind or running errands. He still gets 3-4 6oz bottles a day. I talked it over with my pedi and a friend's (family friend) pedi and they are okay with what I'm doing. I also make LO food. He had a rough start, so I'm a little tight a$$ed about how much I am giving him and his weight gain and all that fun stuff.. But like I said both pedis are happy.
LO gets some snack stuff in the AM: yogurt and maybe some puffs or toast. At lunch he gets 1 cube of food (we make his baby food) and some mixed veggies (peas and carrots) then more yogurt or prunes.
At dinner he eats 2 cubes, puffs and some veggies.
At each meal he gets a sippy of water or water mixed with a splash of juice.
She still gets bottles. Like 3-4 8oz bottles a day. Plus daycare gives her water with her oatmeal and fruit or veggie. Depending on what time I get her home I'll feed her a jar of food and some pedialyte or water I give her a bath at 8 so no more solids after that.
my guy will be 9 months tomorrow. he's been on 3 meals for about a month now.
breakfast- tablespoon and a half of oatmeal and a 3 oz container of fruit
lunch- container of fruit and a container of vegs
dinner- half jar of a 'dinner', about 3 oz and about half a container of a veg... or a fruit if the 'dinner' includes vegs. before the meal, i'll sometimes try a finger food. i do it before hand cause he's a gagger and has thrown up. rather him not throw up all of dinner lol.
