I would love to ask the name experts for their opinions/ thoughts/ associations etc. with my list of girl names. We are due in October and not stressing about finding a name before she is here, but would like some feedback since we are not sharing our ideas with our friends or family.

In no particular order:

In no particular order:
Alice - nice, classic name (but NMS)
Molly - I prefer Margaret nn Molly. I also think 'Mike and Molly', but I love that show.
Tessa - lovely. Also like Theresa nn Tessa, but I know several girls named just Tessa (all late teens/early twenties).
Clara - love!
Sadie - cute, but also a dog name.
Jane - love
Lily - like, perhaps a bit too popular
Alyssa - nice, but I get an 80's vibe. NMS
Lauren - lovely.

Alice Love, even though it's a name of my mom's frenemy
Molly Also love, though it may not age well
Tessa I think of it more like a NN
Clara A little old fashioned for my taste
Sadie Not a fan
Jane Reminds me of Jane Austen. A little plain, but I like it
Lily Way overdone where I live
Alyssa The spelling permutations for this one would make me avoid it

Pretty good list IMO. I like Alice, Clara, and Jane the best with Tessa and Sadie following. I know a lot of people don't like Sadie, but I do. I'm over Lily and Molly/Alyssa/Lauren seem kind of dated to me.

Alice - in wonderland

Molly - Cute, sweet

Tessa - unique

Clara - sophisticated

Sadie - old lady

Jane - safe, strong

Lily - sweet, dainty

Alyssa - eh

Lauren - strong

I actually like them all except Sadie, just NMS

Alice - I love old, classic names, but I don't care for this one.

Molly - like it for a child, but IMO it doesn't age well.

Tessa - just okay, but doesn't impress me.

Clara - I like this one, but much prefer Claire/Clare.

Sadie - I love this name, but as a nn for Sarah. Plus our dog is Sadie.

Jane - love it.

Lily - love it.

Alyssa - not a fan, dated IMO.

Lauren - love it.

Thank you everyone for your opinions! It really helps! I found myself feeling defensive when people said they didn't like a couple of the names and not so much with others, which helps narrow it down (even if you don't like it!)
