Sooooooo much laundry.

So, in getting ready for our trip (we leave Friday, yay!) I wanted to finish getting our house arranged since there isn't much left and well, ummm, we have lived here for 2.5 months now, so I would like it to be done. Saturday night DH actually helped me clean, which was amazing in itself. We got more done in 2 hours than I could have gotten done by myself all week. However, all of the laundry FINALLY made it into my laundry room. I.AM.DROWNING. 

So much laundry, I feel like it will never all be done. But I am determined to get everything washed in my house this week. Wish me luck. I will definitely need it!

    Actually Lili your comment just helped me immensely. I was still debating whether I should just give in and switch to cloth for the cost effectiveness, but I have a front loader and the thought of potentially having to run diapers multiple times I think has just made me a solid "No" on the matter.

    We are going to Virginia to see my parents and brother and sister. They live about 40 minutes from Virginia beach too so I am excited to take A to the beach. Not excited for the 12 hour drive, but I figure I will survive.

    I have 5 black garbage bags FULL OF LAUNDRY from camping. I brought 4 outfits a day for H and 2 blankets per day just in case. Plus, DFs and my own laundry AND blankets and sleeping bags and the dogs blankets. 5 garbage bags full. Full. I feel your pain

    I am glad to see you back! I hope you enjoyed your camping trip, and we will suffer through the laundry together. lol.

    Oh helltotheno.

    Take aaaallll that to the laundromat !!!

    When I get behind beyond recovery, I throw it all in the trunk and go get it all done at the same time !!!

    Our laundry folks here will do it for you for so many cents per pound, if you got some cash laying around :o

    Omg. Me too! My routine is a pre rinse/wash (45mins), heavy/hot wash (2 hrs bout) and then rinse until there are no bubble, usually 3 rinses. Takes forever.

    I got behind in my laundry schedule and now I have mountains. That's what I'm doing all day tomorrow. I want to cry.

    Have fun on your trip!!

    LOL mel. I think my husband would strangle me. We bought this washer and dryer a few years ago, for just over 3000 for the set. I think he might murder me if I went somewhere to spend money on doing laundry. It really isn't SO bad if I keep up with folding as it comes out of the dryer.

    I don't have too many loads to do, maybe 4, but it is just so annoying. The thought of folding and putting away is the worst!!!

    I will offer to gladly come and do all your laundry and fold it if you come and put the 10 baskets of clean clothing we have away. It will smell like downy dreamland.  I should also add I'm insane and everything needs to be size and color coordinated. :)

    We are still doing laundry from our vacation last weekend. It feels never ending. Luckily DF does the washing and I just do the folding and putting away.
