What do you do about non onesie shirts? I used to put a onesie under them but with it being hot, it seems kinda silly. But when he bends his belly sticks out.
Chloe thinks her belly button is hilarious so we're fans of shirts here. If we are in public I tug it back down sometimes, like if shes in a cart... but if her belly button is keeping her happy then I just let it go.
I love them honestly. I think it makes him look like a little man version of him. He gets the little belly showing sometimes, but I just live with it. I have actually started sunscreening his belly too just to be safe.
We just let the belly hang out. I try and buy tops that are a little longer, but that doesn't always work out. I actually prefer the non-onesie tops. No snaps to deal with during diaper changes.
Our sitter would always put a onesie under Charlotte's shirts and I couldn't figure out her logic. Now that it's warm, Charlotte mostly rocks a t-shirt and diaper at home, and a sunsuit or dress when we go out.
I've never put a onesie under his shirts. I don't mind a little belly showing but if it's a lot of belly then it's probably time to retire that shirt ;]
