Non onesies

What do you do about non onesie shirts? I used to put a onesie under them but with it being hot, it seems kinda silly. But when he bends his belly sticks out.

Then and now. How did my boy get so big?

Re: Non onesies

  • Chloe thinks her belly button is hilarious so we're fans of shirts here. If we are in public I tug it back down sometimes, like if shes in a cart... but if her belly button is keeping her happy then I just let it go.

  • I'm constantly adjusting him, lol..

This for us too. I don't mind a little tummy sticking out when it's warm :
  • Yeah, I just let his belly hang out. He likes his belly button.

  • Buy a bigger size up? DS wears 12-18 mo shirts and has for a while, it rides up occ. but it's NBD.

This is why his entire summer wardrobe is rompers and overalls.

This. I don't mind the adorable poochy belly.
  • I love them honestly. I think it makes him look like a little man version of him. He gets the little belly showing sometimes, but I just live with it. I have actually started sunscreening his belly too just to be safe.

  • I like non onsie shirts.  He's in cloth so a lot of the time he just wears a shirt and a big fluffy diaper.

We just let the belly hang out.  I try and buy tops that are a little longer, but that doesn't always work out.  I actually prefer the non-onesie tops.  No snaps to deal with during diaper changes. Smile

This- especially the ease of diaper changes!

    This.

Our sitter would always put a onesie under Charlotte's shirts and I couldn't figure out her logic.  Now that it's warm, Charlotte mostly rocks a t-shirt and diaper at home, and a sunsuit or dress when we go out.

  • Hes usually in a bigger sized shirt than pants because he shirt is always all crazy. It's just always way too hot here for onesies underneath.

  • I've never put a onesie under his shirts. I don't mind a little belly showing but if it's a lot of belly then it's probably time to retire that shirt ;]

  • I just let his cute belly poke out.  We have never been one to layer DS with too many clothes since he is so hot natured.
