Stubborn clogged duct help

I have a very painful clogged duct. I should have pumped on sat night after we got home, but didn't because C only dank 2 oz of her bottle, so I thought she would wake up to eat. Well she slept the whole night, of course.

So there is a big clogg near my nip and it hurts really bad. I've tried massage, massage while nursing, dangle feeding, hot shower and massage, pumping, I can't massage while pumping because the shield covers the area. I've also tried a hot pack. With how big and painful this is, I'm really worried it will turn to mastitis if I don't fix this soon.

What else can I do, I know there's tricks I haven't tried yet.

Try the hot shower while using a brush or comb on it. Or soaking it in the hottest bath you can stand then pumping immediately afterwards.

Lecithin. You get it in pill form at health food and vitamin stores. It'll clear it right up.

Thanks! So a bath it is while the kids are napping, and if that doesn't work, a trip to the store after dinner!

I agree with lecithin. Also someone recently told me massage with an electric toothbrush. Mine cleared up, but it was about to go down.

It's gone! It's gone! Thanks for all your advice! A hot pack, massage, and immediate nursing finally did it. I could actually feel it come out, it was kind of painful.

I EP so when mine release it squirts so loudly and I fill an entire bottle. It's the best feeling when it finally uncloggs lol.

I always found it strange that it hurts when it unclogs and I wasn't sure if that was just me and also if that was actually it. I took it as a yes because it happens every time. But still weird and yes a great relieving feeling!

So glad your clog unclogged!!! I also fear mastitis! Never had it so if I get a clog that doesn't want to go away I start to panick. Which of course works against me.
