I can't believe I can't feel it!

I had my 12 week scan today, and the baby was moving like crazy! Especially one of it's arms, pumping up and down the while time, but the baby in general was wiggling like crazy. I just can't believe that I can't feel something the size of a plum wiggling all around.
So I am guessing the the uterus is not actually tight around the baby? I got a cool 3d photo of the baby, it kinda looks like it is in a cave haha, but I guess there is still a bit of wiggle room.

was this a normal ultrasound or was it the NT screening? I get that one next Monday and my MW said its really really really cool! Cant wait!!
