A few silly questions...

When you hear people say my OBGYN has privileges...what does that mean?

Is "doula" someone you can hire to be with you after baby is born to show you the ropes or are they someone that helps you with labor?

    They're talking about hospital privileges. It just means an OB is affiliated with a certain hospital and can deliver babies there.

     I didn't have a doula, but I think they can help you before, during, and after birth.

    This. I couldn't find a doula I liked but my friend had one and she loved her. Her doula was with her every step of her pregnancy.
