scared of noise?

Ever since I was changing LO in the Sam's bathroom and someone used the super loud dyson hand dryer he is terrified of loud noises. He freaks out if we step in a public bathroom, screams if I turn the vacuum on which he used to love, has a meltdown with the hair dryer. I am so perplexed on how to get him past this... ideas?

    Same thing happened to us except DS is just terrified of changing tables now. I have to change him elsewhere. I like those hand dryers but they are so dang noisy!

    No advice just letting you know you aren't alone. DD is totally freaked out by people yelling and cheering and clapping! We went to a wedding 2 weeks ago and this is where we first noticed it. Then at the boat today, when people yelled she freaked out again, but when the boats started up and everyone else jumped at the noise she acted like nothing happened. Crazy kid!
