Great news

We are DONE painting.
::happy happy joy joy dance::
We ended up hiring someone to finish for us. With DH back to work and Baby Boy not giving me any down time, I don't think we would have ever been able to finish on our own.

We still have the master bedroom to do, but that can wait. Plus that's where Baby Boy sleeps and I wouldn't be comfortable with him breathing in all those fumes. Because you know, it's kind a hard to let a room air out while keeping the door shut as to not disturb baby.

Anyhoo, ws are.done painting and I feel like I can finally stop putting things away "just for now" and start really making this our home. Yippee!

    Surprisingly well. I expected DD1 to miss the old place, but so far so good. On the rare occasion that she talks about it, she only comments on how small it was, or how the new house has this and that that the old one didn't. DD2 doesn't seem to have even noticed we moved. lol

    Seriously. I can't get enough of that fresh paint smell.

    Also, I don't think I will ever paint my house again. What a PITA (and who the eff paints their ceilings all sorts of dark colours?)

    You're kidding me? The old owners painted the ceilings dark colors??
