I'm about to try it, within the next couple of days. I need to downsize everything before the move and as much as I love giving stuff away, we need money.
Biggest most important question, how do you calculate shipping!?
I always use USPS when I ship. If you do the same, decide if you want to use those flat rate boxes. If you do, then you can use that price for your shipping. I don't use flat rate all the time so I estimate with a kitchen scale for how heavy the package is. Sometimes for items I know that would have a high shipping cost that would turn away sellers, I have a flat fee for shipping and hope that I get more than I expect in the auction to cover for what I don't get in shipping fees, if that makes sense.

That makes a lot of sense
I guess I should buy a kitchen scale!
So you don't have to buy a kitchen scale, you could just take your things to the local post office and weigh them.
Use the ebay suggested shipping!! I've never weighed a single thing and have never had an issue. Once you enter your item and categorize it, ebay will give you a suggested shipping method and price. If you use that, then you can simply print your shipping label directly from ebay once the item sells. Buy a bunch of shipping envelopes at the dollar store. So easy!!

Just FYI, pay attention to how much the eBay recommended shipping is. I was trying to sell some shirts and no one was bidding until I had someone send me a message and say that shipping was showing up at 30 dollars! I was able to ship them for 10!

Totally. It uses very general categories so for necklace it might suggest $1.50, but if it's a big chunky statement necklace it might be more than that. But generally, it's pretty accurate
