Recommend your carrier.

I am looking for a front carrier for Keith preferably one I can nurse him in. He is 22lbs and 29.5 inches tall. I have the maya ring sling, but it is just not enough support anymore, so it hurts my back if we go for long walks. I'm hoping to get one that we don't have to pay an arm and a leg for.

    We have a boba 3G and love it. It's very comfortable to wear.

  • I just did a thread about back carrying and everyone is recommending an Ergo.  (If you haven't read it, I'm between a used Babyhawk and a used Ergo, both found on Craigslist.)

    We had a Baby Bjorn that we found at a garage sale and LOVED.  You should keep an eye on local sales and Craigslist for used carriers and save some $$$.

    Someone else told me to check out the Boba Air because it is less expensive ($65) than some others.

    I don't BF, but love my ergo. Easy to adjust, comfy to wear in both front and back carry, and the hood is great for naps on the go, or discreet nursing. Mine was used and it is in great shape.i have friends who have successfully nursed older kiddos in the ergo, you just drop them down by loosening the straps.nbsp;

    This is kind of what I'm leaning toward I think.

  • I have a ring sling that I don't use any more too... My ergo is the best things I ever purchased. I nurse lo in it all the time, I don't know what I would do if I couldn't nurse on the go. I would say its worth the investment. My sister used her ergo with my niece until she was like 3 years old.

  • I love my Boba.  Easy to get DD in and out and do up. I nurse her in it too
