Question about initial testing

So my DH and I are on a break from the RE since my DHs varicocele surgery. In the meantime i have been doing some reading and thinking and feel like maybe my RE should have done an 3day u/s to determine my follicle count.  Did you ladies have this test? Do you think I should have him do it? Thanks for any advice you all have. 
TTC since Jan. 2012. DX =low AMH level. 1st SA=within normal range. SA for 1st IUI = low count Jan. 2013: 150 mg clomid + IUI = BFN

    Yes, I think a CD3 antral follicle count is a pretty standard part of IF diagnostic workup.

    TTC since Sept 2011, Unexplained IF
    Oct 12 - Jan 14: 3 clomid/TI cycles, 2 hysteroscopies, 2 IUIs, 1 BFP (MMC @ 12w), 2 more IUIs
    Feb 14: Gonal-f + IUI #5 = BFP! (EDD 11/4/14)
    Baby boy arrived 11/13/14!

    This, but also, I was always given a follicle count for CD3 before any stimming treatment. They're already there anyways with the u/s. It wasn't just done during initial testing.
