DH and I had so much fun on our date night last night. We went to dinner, had drinks with friends and then drove out to the lake and went for a midnight swim. It was so much fun, it was like we were teenagers again. It was great letting loose and doing something different.
I guess there is no point to this post. I just had to tell someone, and since you ladies are pretty much my best girlfriends, I thought I'd tell you.

Ooh, that sounds amazing. We went out last night too, I wore a dress and full makeup and everything. It was fabulous.

I'm so glad that you guys got to do this even with all the miserable rain yesterday. Did you guys end up going to Upland for dinner? Oh man, their blue flame black bean burger...my mouth is watering just thinking about it.

We didn't. We passed Scotty's first and DH decided he wanted to go there since it was racing cats and dogs and we were able to park in the garage. He has promised we will be going to upland next time though.
Maybe a double Upland date? That would be super fun! We could sit on the patio and talk about everything but babies.
Scotty's is good, too. They have darn good food and lots of drink variety. I'm glad you got to get out and have some fun, grown up style.

No skinny dipping this time though I have been known to do it in the past. We had our suits in the car, because we had planned to go out on the boat but got rained out.
