I went to my OB to "chat" about my short LP problem I mentioned a few days ago.  I explained my timeline concern & asked about getting a referral to an RE.  She was AWESOME, & reassured me that I could come in as often as I like to chat about any concerns I'm having.  She also gave me Crinone (progesterone) to start the day after I ovulate which should help w/ my short LP.  I got a positive On my OPK yesterday, so hoping for a temp rise soon.  

 It was a great appointment, & I'm glad i requested the RE referral.  she didn't suggest it, & probably thinks I'm a little crazy for wanting one, but she was super supportive either way.

 The earliest I can get an appt w/ the RE is the 23rd of July, but they're putting me on a Call list if there are any cancellations. 

 Thanks for your advice ladies, I felt a little less pushy/crazy after reading your responses to my earlier post.  Not that there's anything wrong w/ being pushy--it just doesn't come naturally to me (especially when it's something for myself).  

So...anyone taken Crinone before?  Any advice?

    1st BFP-8/17/12!  Missed Miscarriage discovered @ 8 week US.  D&C.
    2nd BFP-2/13/13!  Blighted Ovum discovered @ 8 week US. Natural miscarriage.
    3rd BFP-5/22/13!  By early June, progesterone plummeting.  Another loss.
    August 2013 - started Donor Egg process, but surprise BFP with my own eggs.

    Good for you! Only you can advocate for you! Glad you have an appt. I think I am not sure though you might want to google, but I think women on crinone tend have a "build up" so just an fyi. As I understand its gross but nothing wrong.

    Me: 41 DH: 46. We are TTC our 1st, started July '11,
    3 cycles clomid with Ob,
    1 cycle Tamoxifen with Ob,
    Diagnosed PCOS 11/5/12
    clomid, trigger & timed bd 12/12 BFN
    1st clomid IUI 1/4/13 BFN.
    2nd clomid IUI 2/13 cancelled didn't respond to clomid.
    3/15/13 scheduled laparoscopy & on bcp.

    May 10 IUI from injectibles - BFN 

    May 22 done with interventions it will either happen or it won't. 

    February 2014 No longer actively trying, but not preventing. 

    SURPISE BFP 4/2/2015!!!!!!!!!!

    I read that too. My OB didn't mention it, it sounds like many don't. You'd think they would. thx for the heads up. I read it could be different colors too greenish or pinkish. Double gross!

    Yes, the crinone is sort of unpleasant.  It does build up and can be clumpy.  Panty liners are a good idea and not moving too much for a bit after you use it.

    Glad your appt. went well.....maybe, she can change your prescription to Prometrium or another progesterone supplement.  That is what I take and it isn't that bad with your discharge, but you will still need to wear a panty liner.  Just a thought....

    Hope that your RE appt. goes well and you get one quicker from the call list.  Keep us posted on how it goes.  ;)

    the progesterone supps can be messy so like pp have said wear a panty liner.  Also it cause pregnancy symptoms so try not to read too much in to them.... they give me headaches and sore breast...

    - poor responder

    IVF#1 and 2- Cancelled due to no response on max stimms
    FET 5/20- BFP
    1st Beta- 641
    2nd beta- 2166
    Sono- TWINS!!!!
    Two Boys! Born January 2015 @36 weeks.  Healthy and no NICU!  So blessed!
