Progesterone

So another cycle on Cronine. Disappointed! I started this cycle so well. My folical was larger than last montg and I surged on my own, so I thought I was going to be okay with the progesterone chk today.
I know it is for the best and I am happy that we have the advantage of working with an RE so that something like this is caught early, but it is still annoying.

Anyway, I am prob going to call about this question anyway, but can you go swimming when you use prog. sopositories?

    I remember my doctor telling me not to get in water (bath, etc.) when using progesterone suppositories, but I'm not sure if that meant right after (I only took one a day right before bed time) or the entire time.  Definitely good to double check.

    My RE cleared me to swim when I was on both Crinone and Endometrin, but it is probably better not to go right after you inserted it.  I believe all of the Crinone your body is going to absorb gets absorbed in the first 15-20 minutes, so after that it doesn't matter.

    When I was on progesterone I inserted it at night and went swimming in the mornings. Wasn't a problem!

    Got the all clear also from my RE. Thank you ladies. I was going to. Get upset if I couldn't swim. I love the pool and the beach.
