Umbrella stroller help

Last minute decision - heading to buy buy baby to get B a new umbrella stroller today. Any good recommendations? Needs to be sturdy for travel, able to handle a beach, and I would love adjustable handles!

Thx!

Re: Umbrella stroller help

  • What's your price range? I hear the Maclaren techno or Quest are pretty good, not sure about the adjustable handles though and they are kinda pricey. We just bought the first years ignite yesterday, which is under 100 but also no adjustable handles but DH is tall 6'4" and can comfortably hold it. Other good umbrella strollers I've heard of are the uppa baby gluxe and chicco lite way plus[i think].

  • Uppababy has one that I love!!!

Also there's one at target that looks nice to but I haven't researched it as far as the handles and all.
  • I just got a MacLaren Quest last week for M and I love it. It's light but really sturdy, has a great basket, rain cover, and the handles are a great height. I was able to find one on Craigslist for 85.

  • I got a Combi for our trip. We have taken it to the pool and the beach. It has worked well. It reclines as well. The handles are not adjustable though. DH is 6 ft and it has worked fine for him.

I have this one as well.  I love it.  Have had it since C was little.  Sturdy and Lightweight.   I know you already chose, but this is a great compact option.
